Q) How do I download mp3s using mirc (GalaxyNet)?

A)

1. Start your mirc

2. Login to galaxynet, strongly advised that you should use the server that's the closest to your current location.

3. Join into the #jpop channel (/j jpop) and you will see a main channel screen.

4. Type @find the file name you wanted

e.g @find ayumi hamasaki surreal

@find Dare devil OST
@find inuyasha

5. You will see a lot of people messaging you, click one of them and see if the filename you want appears in the private message screen

6. If you found the filename that you would like to download, simply highlight the sentence while hold down the "shift" button, and press "shift + insert" in the main channel screen. You should see the sentence was being copied and pasted. Press enter.

e.g ![JP]Dead Ayumi_Hamasaki_-_Surreal.mp3 <-- highlight it

7. Wait patiently and eventually you will being asked whether you would like to accept the file or not, click yes to proceed. You may also resume the incomplete file by re-entering the line, as long as your incomplete file was in the default Get Folder you should be fine.

Ayumi Hamasaki Sekai has an official mIRC channel, #AHSforum, on the mIRC server GalaxyNet.

isaac and Darkevil (our official mIRC channel host) have prepared some tips about how to join the AHS chatroom and where to download files on mIRC:]

Okay here the info

1) Where to download MIRC?
A) www.mirc.com

2) How to connect to irc.galaxynet ?
A) Just find on the list and connect to any of the server if you wants others server you may go to www.galaxynet.org to add those server which is closer to you.

3) How can i enter the chatroom of AHSforum?
A) Just click on the 3rd icon (Channel Folder) and type in #AHSforum on the box.

4) How can I get a register nick on Galaxynet?
A) just type /msg ns help register . Free Email Hosting service like (Yahoo Mail, Hotmail) are not able to register.

5) Where can i download mp3/mpg tru MIRC Galaxynet?
A) You are able to download mp3/mpg tru these channel (#jpop,#mp3cable,#mp3magix,#mp3junction) Strongly Recommand #Jpop for Jpop stuff.

6) Where can i get more information about MIRC galaxynet commands?
A) You can try going to #irchelp or message me. Mine nick is Darkevil.

Other than that, I don't think many use mIRC for much else XD

I've made a new mIRC channel for AHSForum, its #AHSForum@irc.rizon.net, follow the tutorials before this post and instead, go to the Rizon server! There will be a bot 24/7 so no worries xP. Hope to see you all there.

I only think that it became unusual today
Noone who isn't a computer junkie can use it easily <- I think that is the real problem
