[DISCUSSION] Ayu's recent facial features

At Deli's suggestion, I created this thread to talk about Ayumi's um... changing looks.

alot of people think she's had possibly a nose job, and others don't.

debate here.

I don't care if she gets/got surgery, the problem for me is the fact that said "surgery" has made her face look like an ugly panda with a bad nose job.

So bad she should get her money back for it, like damn.

her nose looks the same in my opinion.. just not in her photo shoots. anyone who has HD lives of ayu, watch them. especially her recent sunrise one, then watch an older one from 2000 or 2001. nose is exactly the same.

^ Exactly. I think her nose only looks different in her latest photoshoots which imo is due to some bad photoshopping. Her nose looks just like always in the Sunrise/Sunset PV's

.

Even if she got a nosejob it's so subtle that it's barely noticeable. Otherwise we wouldn't be expeculating about this.

I think ayu's nose is the same. The NEXT LEVEL PV shows her nose is just like it was in the evolution PV.

I think it's kinda low starting a thread when this type of thread is just baiting for an argument.

I don't think she had anything done to her nose... I know it's kinda hard to find pics of ayu with no make-up... but if you do, you can see pretty clearly that it hasn't changed.

I disagree with her nose looking the same in HD lives... i think the HD lives really tipped the scales for me. Her nose looks pencil thin and small... when I never remember her nose looking small. It was to me a good medium size. I don't get the whole deal with small noses... the whole Jackson family, Hollywood celebs... smaller is always better to them. I mean, being an aspiring photographer and somewhat of an amateur model, the nose does look better if smaller... but too small is not good!

Totally agree with that point. It's unsettling seeing her look like this. Chances of her getting a revision surgery possible though, though I doubt it... because I don't think she sees what we see.

This is true. I can't even tell how many times people have called ayu chubby on this forum. Ridiculous.

Now that i think about it, it's good that ayu doesn't really care about her image anymore (at least not that much), cause she'd probably be starving herself and god knows what more.

Like Delirium also said in the other thread, we should care about what she tries to convey in her covers, photoshoots, pv's, etcetera, not about her body/face.

Looking good is only a plus.

I admit that there are some pics that make me think she doesn't look all too different, but I still find something a bit off... Like her nose is incomplete, something missing from it. But still that pic you showed is really good, I used it a lot to reassure myself that she still looks the same, but with the flood of more pics making me think otherwise... and not to forget her HD concerts.

hmmm i think her nose from the way back until today is just look the same..
we can't really make sure from photoshoots/pictures..because sometimes pictures can fool our eyes.. because of the angles and everything...
if u take pictures, sometimes ur arms can be looked so big, or ur b**bs can be looked so big, but at the other pictures, they're vice versa..it depends on the angles..

the only feature that looks different from is Ayu's teeth haha lol

if compare to the 2003... that.. she really did surgery for it..

I think this thread needs more picture evidence. To be honest, although Ayu's been looking "different" in her recent shoots, I blame that on her expression, the angles, the makeup, and the photoshop. I haven't seen any reason to blame it on surgery yet.

It's because Ayu constantly changes how she likes her makeup done during different seasons and then her favourite expression (such as that opened mouthed fish look she did for a lot of 2007-2008), I don't think I can ever properly believe that Ayu did surgery.

People constantly accuse her of changing her face all the time. I don't know if this time it's different from any of the previous times or not. Somewhere in the transition between the SEASONS-era and Evolution-era, Ayu was also accused of plastic surgery (not just her teeth.) Then, Ayu transitioned to that style of makeup that is used throughout the Uraayu era and through Stadium Tour I think. People always say she looks different from the previous time they saw her.

Yeah, just looking around at a lot of the pictures she's in [like say, the RAINBOW one you have] you'd think she was a different girl 6 years ago, but it's not.. she's still the same!

If that's the case, then she's had several major surgeries in the last decade, [which is probably what Japanese people think in the first place.. but..] but with a workload like hers, that's like.. impossible.

Just to note: Mr. Kaz Okabe does all of those making-of shoots.. perhaps something really does happen behind the scenes where they alter her images [with Kzysh], haha.
