Technical Difficulty of Ayu Songs

So a friend of mine and I were arguing over the
technical difficulty of Ayu's music versus his favorite
genre (heavy metal).
He said to give him two examples of Ayu's vocal prowess,
One of her in concert, one recording.
So I'm wondering what everyone thinks is her most technically
difficult song? And what her best concert performance was?
(I thought Kiss o' Kill on tour of secret was pretty impressive but does anyone know of a better vocal?)

Ooh, that's quite a hard thing to decide on - in recordings, you can record as many times as you want, but in a concert or a live TV performance, it's only ONE shot at it for each concert day, and if it's one-off (like a live TV performance), then it's only one shot for real...

Kanariya is a tricky song....

For live... dunno. Look at her concerts pre-2004 lol.

That said, there are some CRAZY technical bands out there. I don't know how you're going to compare shredders with vocalists.

Endless Sorrow CDL0506
forgiveness A MUSEUM
Heartplace PREMIUM CDL
I am... CDL0910 ~Future Classics~

for recording...I think (miss)understood? hehe..just heard it again yesterday after 3-4 months? it sounded so powerful...I think on CD she sounds amazing, though she may not be all the time in lives. The above are some those which I feel strongly about.

Heavy Metal (can be) super technical. You're gonna be hard pressed to find a Ayu song that can compare. Though techincal doesnt =good.

For vocals A Song For at A-Nation '08 is good.
or End of the World from PCDL.

Seriously...I mean, not only do they sing in different styles...but I know some heavy metal vocalists that are like opera singers and such lol

Honestly, I mean, in a vocal contest, Ayu isn't that formidable.

Her 05 vocals are my favorite anyway. I feel like she had a really good balance of highs and lows and wasnt very squeaky.

I always found M a song that is pretty hard to master.

But yeah, it's kind of a dead end to compare heavy metal to ayu. It's not like the other are more technical then the other, they are just very different. But yes, heavy metal in general have much more technique in their melodies then pop ever will have. Then metal itself have a huge amount of other metal styles, where probably extreme/experimental metal winns for being most techincal. Like Meshuggah who uses alot of jazz and such.

When it comes to compare singers it's a bit different. It's not like Tarja in Nightwish was a better singer then Anette just because she could master opera. They just use different singing techniques.

AHS married to Maro
~13/1-2010~

Spoiler:
We had such a nice time. We started dating in t2m PV, took it slow you know, let our love grow. Then it got really serious in 2008. Then after AT2009 we moved in together. It was lovely. Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.
