Same guitar riff as SEASONS?

It was mentioned on some site that the song "Alone" by Heart sounded like the same guitar riff as SEASONS. So I've uploaded a clip, you tell me what you think:

Oh, and I know someone's going to say "OH, WHAT DOES SEASONS GO LIKE AGAIN?". After I beat them down with my shoe for them not knowing what SEASONS sounds like..

No rush...I just wanted to point it out just in case someone with power wanted to look into this and possibly find a suspect. 5 views...3 people reply to the thread...2 people unaccounted for...within 20 minutes...something's fishy. It sounds like "Listen to your Heart" by Roxette, from which SEASONS reminds me of a lot LOL

"Alone" came first though. And other jpop singers rip off this song too, I've heard it several times... though the only one I can think of off the top of my head is "Half Pain" by Bana from Witch Hunter Robin. The melody in the verses is almost exactly the same.

devilayu: yeah, they should... it doesn't usually happen though, especially with jpop. (gackt did NOT pay the writers of "Three Small Words" when he basically covered everything but the chorus for "ANOTHER WORLD". x_x that's the one that kills me the most, lol)

OMGGGG, I can't even listen to that song! I love "Three Small Worlds" so everytime I hear "Another World" I die, too.

"alone" by heart is a classic. great song. carrie underwood did a good job on AI also.
