Party with "Shake It" or dancing to "In The Spotlight"?
Apparently both Jpop queens are trying to release music that 'connects' with the young and hip generation by making songs like "Shake it" and "In the spotlight", both suitable to be played in parties or dance clubs. So which song will you choose to play during your party or want to hear in a dance club???

In the spotlight is too much of a J-Lo reject for me.

I love my girl Ayumi, but in the spot light is just down right a better song.

I actually really like both, for a party song...if this was realistic, I'd have In the Spotlight playing near the start of the party or something, and Shake It when everyone is actually dancing and stuff
![]() I guess Shake It..? But I love both so much ![]() |

Definitely In The Spotlight! It sounds more polished and I can actually dance to.
With Timmy in Shake It, it's more like a gay club party ![]() I can't really dance to it lol

For the club scene "In The Spotlight (TOKYO)" is a much better choice in my opinion

Uh well In the spotlight is I guess more club friendly since it sounds like every other generic club song out there. But for me, it's boring and uninteresting for that very reason. Shake it is a lot more fun and catchy to me and I'd much rather hear that at a club/party. It's also one of the few ayu songs you can actually dance to.

Basically everything everyone said...
and I'd choose In the Spotlight because it makes me want to dance, but it also relaxes me. I also like Namie's vocals more...Ayu's vocals are...they're too...harsh and apparent for me to just want to dance to the song. It's like, I want to listen to her singing...and I want to dissect and listen to the song. Namie's song is just calming, background, just dance music.

Namie Amuro no doubt. Really sorry... it's not that I don't like Ayu's song, it just doesn't do anything for me, not really. Her vocals are the only thing keeping me interested in this song, it's just boring. Namie knows how to make a good let-your-hair-down-close-your-eyes-and-make-your-body-move -song. Ayu's not that kind of an artist I guess, at least not for me.

As much as I love Shake It, I still choose In The Spotlight (Tokyo) because it really has that let's go clubbing feel on it.
