If you had a chance...

Let's say there was a contest where you got to direct ONE song of Ayu's that DOESN'T have a PV, which song would it be and what would the concept of the PV be?

I think SCAR should be set during WWII and about a man leaving a woman (or Ayu) to go fight in the war. He winds up dying in the war and the PV ends with Ayu as an old lady waiting for the guy to return.

i've taken a ranking in my country's ayu forum...which was called "Ranking for ayu's songs which deserve to own a pv bu doesn't"

so my first choice will be Will, the HANABI....

I can't decide on will or memorial address...>.< Will should have a traditional Japanese theme...with samurai and ninjas at night time...kinda like Rurouni Kenshin and memorial address should have Ayu visiting a grave and have flashback scenes of her and the person from the grave. The times they spent together and stuff =p

Well, it's always bugged me how the RAINBOW video was handled. It's such an epic, beautiful song and the video was so plain. I probably would have had some CGI. Not really a fantasy theme like Forgiveness, but something more ethereal. Maybe animated like the first section of Utada's 'Passion'. Although that song isn't Utada's best, I wish RAINBOW had been done a little more like that.

Probably I am... I would finish the video based on the CM. I really liked that theme. I was thinking A Song for XX too, but then I really like that it doesn't have a PV because it doesn't attach a lasting image to the song -- so it's different for everyone. But for I am... ... ... yeah I would... finish the CM version and make it into a PV.

I would have to say that I would want a PV for Will. I was surprised that Will didn't have a PV since it since all of the other new songs on m(u)'s singles had PVs. I was thinking a traditional Japanese theme too, with Ayu in a kimono and at night with the moon shining and having her in a sort of Japanese garden.

It would take place in traditional, ancient Japan. I can't exactly say where Ayu would be situated or go into too much detail, but she would be having memories when she was a younger girl during a Japanese festival. The song would end with her standing somewhere, surrounding by hundreds of lanterns.

A funeral. People are gathering at a graveyard, and Ayu slowly appears in the same outfit she wore in Seasons, and holding a string of white flowers. She approaches the coffin, and places the flowers on the dead body (whose face is not shown) and steps back. She looks up at the sky to see the black clouds, and a single tear rolls down her face. Slowly, people leave one by one, but Ayu is still standing at the grave. The sky turns darker as the song progresses until it fades out to show that Ayu is still standing by the grave.

i would do I Am...,Duty, or ever free. I Am.. would be based on the CM clip of it, with the doves, the kids, and Ayu in the desert in the leaves....and Duty would have something to do with the cover/booklet photoshoot. she would be in the panther outfit in the classy room...and then there would be scenes of her outside with a red sky (like the world was ending) kinda like that CM that used Duty...i think it was a Takanoya (i think thats how its spelled) CM. im not gonna bother describing ever free, cuz Chibi Sunny took the words right out of my mouth lol.

Eh. It'd be cooler if Ayu was the one out of the grave.. and then when they show the tombstone..

I would choose this song and give it a theme that was pretty much like a world of fairies and elves and stuff. Ayu would be a fairy or elf like thing, and she would be following around someone. You'd never see this "someone" She wouldn't have anyone in the video, but the creatures around her to represent her loneliness. though. But the one thing that will keep the theme of the video and the lyrics connected would be a small firefly that she'd maybe keep around her to represent the promise. It'd be in a dark forest, she'd be wearing dark colors and the only thing giving off light would be the firefly. Fro most of the video she'd be either lying around or sneaking around, bu towards the end she kinda runs around with the firefly trying to move on i guess.

i think i wanna say another one too, i'd pick the song, "I Am..." It's be in the ocean, yes, the ocean. She'd be a mermaid. she'd travel around and evetually come up the shoer, laying in the sand towards the middle. She'd be swimming with the fishies and merpeople^^. Maybe even kinda like the lil mermaid, and she'll be singing the song I Am.. to some human or soemthing, and she eventually jumps back into the see, leaving him and swimming around in search for that "one word" .

I'd be a lot rockier and darker. Instead of the whole clone things and the pick clothing there'd be Ayu walking down that corridor wearing black leather and accessories with her breaking down the locked doors with a guitar and all with a "whatever" attitude In each door she would different siutations for example, a girl crying on her bed or being suicidal................ It would be very dark.
