it's a cool idea since by right I was brought up with classical music

not sure if this will become reality though

It'd be nice if she did just a one off concert, just one.
I know I'd buy it.

It might be nice to watch on DVD, but I'm not sure if it's the best thing for the audience. Although I wouldn't mind because I like classical music.

But I dunno, they had an orchestra at Kuu's Fever live and it worked pretty well, although the factor is more IMO whether it's pure orchestra or are there still going to be the original elements in.

I'd rather want an unplugged concert.

For Ayu's audience, I think orchestral/classical is probably REALLY bad.

Lots of bored reactions are likely, especially since they're used to Ayu being flashy and colorful.

I disagree that ayu's audience would not attend such a concert, in fact, the release of MY STORY CLASSICAL and its sales shows that there are enough people interested in her classical works. I think she could definetly do a "dinner show" or similar more intimate concert with a classical ensemble. She'd have to sing better than she did at the expo aichi though.

It's not that I think that they won't attend, it's that I think that a concert full of it is probably not the best thing. The encores mid-concert that she does are good enough imo, and she should just bring out a strings orchestra for that anyway since that's what she mainly deals with.

Plus, most fans here only care about what they see, and if we did get a DVD full of Ayu singing with a full orchestra back up [unlikely since orchestras are HUGE.] people would simply complain that it's boring and lacks imagination or something.

I think it's a good idea in so much as it'll be a intimate concert with a little audience.

A whole concert? No. Too boring. It could be a segment in one of her concerts... but NOT a full concert itself!!

Well, it depends on how Ayu would perform the orchestra version of her songs live. So far, I've enjoyed listening to MY STORY Classical and the "Alterna" Orchestra version too. I believe I would love to watch that concert all the same.

I like orchestral music too, but I think it's not really a thing that Ayu's fans in general would like.

Like I adore when she brings in a small orchestra group, or even a few strings, but a whole show based on that? Maybe a small "orchestral arrangement" section of the MC-song-selection, but that's about it. For example, GAME with an orchestra is epic on paper/CD, but I think it'd sort of loses its charm on the stage, especially if Ayu just sits there [which she should do if she does do this sort of thing..]

She should do a Kumi like "Live in Hall Limited" and slap it on her next album as an extra edition.

I think it would work out great.
