I'm glad she grabs some recognition and attention in international news. They used good photo of hers.

It wasn't a comparison at all, it was a clever use of something most people in the west recognize (Gaga's song) and garner interest for something they DON'T (Ayu's song). Not to mention they credit Ayu with having struck that sort of ground first, so... er, y'know.

There are probably hundreds of songs named like that. But yup, they are the most popular songs from that bunch. They just wrote that sentence to catch reader's eye especially, and I'm not sure if I like these tricks.
