F.I.R.'s third album "Flight Tribe"

Haven't see any threads about this yet...what do you guys think of their new one?
after hearing it...this is their weakest release, if I were to rank from best to worst.
The second one "Unlimited" is by far their best release hands down, then the second one would be their debut album and then the new one.
I guess not many songs that could made me go "wow" compares to the other two albums.

release date: July 28th

hmm well there's two...that I liked
one is call Tian Tian Ye Ye "Days Nights"
part of the intro lyrics is LeAnn Rimes's How Do I Live and then it switches off to a really nice ballad.
The other one is Yu Ying Hua "Raining Sakura"
a mix of Japanese instrumental+tribal sounds

I'll upload it to the download section

I think their new album isn't good at all. None of the songs really stand out imo. I think their debut album was the best, 2nd album 2nd and 3rd album is the worst out of the 3.

Dull on the most part like their last two releases, but at least their last 2 releases had 2 or 3 songs that caught my attention. This one hasn't yet.

I particularly don't like the one where they samples Tricia Yearwood's (or LeAnn Rimes') "How Do I Live".

I just got it yesterday, so I haven't quite listened to it throughly, but none of the tracks really catch my attention.

It's LeAnn Rimes in this case.

I've heard good and bad reviews about it, but I can't exactly put in my two cents, since I've never heard it. (I may buy it soon...)But does it sound like that: what's next preview on Unlimited?

I don't know... I have to download it. So far the only things I've heard are bad, though.

Edit: Okay... so I downloaded it. And it's literally okay. I have a thing for track 8 for some reason. O__o All in all, this is an album I probably won't buy any time soon.

It sounds lighter and slightly under-produced, like... the guitars could've sounded more powerful.

This is slightly off topic, but does anyone think that the Introduction in their 1st album is a rip off of 'taskinlude' from I am...? The general melody sounds similar, but the noticeable parts are the beginning (minus the talking), and especially the ending.

BTW, does anyone know if theres gonna be a cd+dvd rerelease with the MVs in the next few weeks? i dont want to buy it, just to find out the cd+dvd is coming out.

then wait till you see the third version...i'm used to it...

the cycle are almost the same, first edition will have the cd, nowadays, they include photobooks, calenders(if near the end of the year).
2nd edition, which they called 'gai ban', most have CD+VCD(of pvs), some bigger companies will have dvd instead of vcds, or the artist's 'Celebration concert' which will be vcd...
3rd round might be a vcd of the 'tv special', which is aired in some taiwan shows....they will put them into the cd...

^Yep. Usually I see it's:
1st Version = CD-only
2nd Version = CD+VCD/CD+DVD (even a possibility of a bonus track)

I've heard it. It's ok on the whole. But not amazing. I think "Get High""Sakura rain(Yu yinghua)" and "You love him (Ni hen ai ta)" are nice.

I think it's their weakest release. None of the songs really stuck with me this time round. I still prefer their older works. As some of you have raised, it sounds under produced. Faye's still strong on vocals though, I just think that composition wise they really need to brushen up.
