歌手の浜崎あゆみ（２９）がリミックスアルバム「ａｙｕ―ｍｉ―ｘ６」を２６日に発売する。１月に左耳の聴 力を失ったと告白して以来、初めての作品。「ＢＬＵＥ　ＢＩＲＤ」などのヒット曲のアレンジに世界各国の大 物ＤＪを起用した。１２日からは最新アルバム「ＧＵＩＬＴＹ」の収録曲を世界２５カ国に配信。デビュー１０ 周年を迎え、世界進出を視野に入れたもようだ。
　リミックスアルバムは０３年９月以来、６作目で、ゴールド、シルバー盤の２枚を同時発売。今年はデビュー １０周年の節目とあり、ローリング・ストーンズやブリトニー・スピアーズら、リミックスを手掛けた米国のア ルマンド・ヴァン・ヘルデンや、アカデミー賞のパーティーでＤＪを務めるフランスのステファン・ポンポニャ ックら、世界的に知名度の高い各国の人気ＤＪに依頼した。

　ゴールド版はアップテンポな楽曲を、シルバー版はバラード曲を収録。「ＳＴＥＰ　ｙｏｕ」はパンク調に、 「ＨＥＡＶＥＮ」はハウス調に仕上がった。浜崎自身の希望も取り入れ、構想１年、製作期間に６カ月を費やし た。

　リミックスを手掛けたＤＪは、英国やカナダなど欧米人が中心。過去５作より豪華布陣を敷いたのは、欧米進 出を視野に入れたものと考えられる。今年の元日に発売したアルバム「ＧＵＩＬＴＹ」の収録曲は１２日に、日 本人アーティスト史上最多タイとなる世界２５カ国へ配信されることが決定。うち欧米諸国は１９カ国となって いる。

　デビュー１０周年記念シングル「Ｍｉｒｒｏｒｃｌｅ　Ｗｏｒｌｄ」（４月８日発売）のプロモーションビデ オの撮影で２月中旬にパリを訪れた際、滞在先のホテル前で現地のファン約８０人に囲まれて握手攻めにあった 。欧米はビジュアル系ロックバンドが人気だが、現地ファンがインターネットで日本の音楽を親しむうちに「日 本の人気Ｎｏ・１アーティスト」として浜崎の知名度が一気に広まったようだ。昨年、台湾、上海などで初のア ジアツアーを成功させているが、欧米から公演オファーも相次いでおり、今後の浜崎の動向に注目 が集まる。

Ha ha, it's like a bablefish translation. Input data, get out jumble words.

Anyway, "walking" in that sentence refers to Ayu, since "Ayumi" means "walker" or something like that.

Ayu Releases Global Remix Album

While the past 5 works paved a nice road approaching this release, it is possible that preparation for an approach into the European and American market was taken into account. On the 12th, "GUILTY", which was sold on New Year's Day of this year, will be distributed to 25 world countries, tying Hamasaki as one of the Japanese Artists with the largest worldwide distribution. 19 of the 25 countries will be Western Nations.

For the video shoot for her 10th Anniversary single, "Mirrorcle World", Hamasaki went to Paris, where she was surrounded by about 80 fans in front of her hotel, greeting them with handshakes. Although in the west it's usually the Visual Kei rock bands that are popular, local fans who became familiar with Japanese music via the Internet knew Hamasaki well, whose reputation as "Japan's No.1 Artist" had spread.
