I pick Lady Gaga because I really think her music is great and catchy lol. I like Ayu, but her recent works have let me down ~! While Lady Gaga has not let me down yet lol! I even like Fashion from Confessions of a Shopaholic (Which is a GREAT movie btw, a must see IMO ) Yes, maybe her music will go downhill later but for now I like her better than Ayu.

But I think this thread is a little pointless at this point of time. Cos Lady Gaga is still pretty new... at least Britney has been in the industry for quite a while, so a comparison is valid, but Lady Gaga... maybe I'll come back here a couple of years later~

And, just so everyone knows, Gaga does have talent. She writes and composes her music =/... And she actually does have a really nice voice, especially in the ballads she has that are unreleased.

There's a lot about Lady Gaga that's really pretty inspiring, but it's not exactly what's readily available to nonfans

how is being a total **** and talking about sex in every interview inspiring? i don't care if she writes and composes music because it's total crap. have you listened to her lyrics? they're trash. some of her songs are catchy but that's all she has.

Okay, woah, calm the **** down. You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine. I was merely pointing out that she does have talent, even if you don't like what it sounds like. It's one thing to say "they have no talent" then to say "I don't like how they sound." Your opinion is the later.

Talent is fact, disliking how it sounds is opinion. So, saying someone has no talent has to be backed up by facts. Can she write lyrics? Yes. Can she compose? Yes. She's been playing the piano since she was four, she's been performing since she was 14, she designs her clothing. It takes TALENT to do those things, even if you don't like how it sounds

actually most of her more sexual songs weren't even written by her and a lot of her lyrics talk about much more than that. koda kumi may be a sexual person but she doesn't go around talking about it in every interview to the point where it's annoying
