Sadly the previews for the Japanese album sound pretty generic.
Crow and Mannish Chocolate sound the best.
And Jazzclub sound a bit different than in the Pv or am I imagining things?

Nega Dola on the other hand is cool.
I'm more excited for the Korean mini now.

Nega Dola sounds better than all of the previews of the Japanese album for me, although I like Jazzclub and Lookbook quite a bit!

I totally agree with this, though I don't really care for Jazzclub. The album as a whole is sounding pretty meh.

I don't like Nega Dola song nor the pv. Her main look and the one chosen for the M countdown comeback is horrid!

Jazzclub on the other hand is amazing! it has grown on me a lot. I wish she didn't look that bored on the video tho. Another outfit and choreo would have made it way more enjoyable (cause the production seems fine this time around). And the title ballad is generic but really pretty

And I guess this is just a matter of personal taste, cause I really liked it.

But I'm a fan of hers. I guess if this song was sung by any other artist I wouldn't mind as much as I am now haha like, I liked the song, just don't think it's amazing. But I wouldn't call boring even if it was from other artists (watashi mono mama de ii no ka na on the other hand its the typical song I only like because it's hers haha)

I really enjoyed jazzclub and before it right here, right everywhere is one of my favorite BoA songs of all time, seriously haha so I'm not feeling she has been releasing boring tracks. What she isn't doing, though, is updating her music, refreshing her sound and shifting her image (actually Nega Dola kinda is doing this?), but I'm fine cause I'd rather have tracks like the ones in her future Japanese album than for her to have a change of sound and start doing heavy electronic-influenced songs, basically meaningless lyrics about partying and such (one or two is okay, but not every f* track). Safe is better, imho haha

she said she wasn't feeling some of her old songs but girl... why you releasing this though? it looks like she's trying a lot to stay relevant with the young audience. I mean you're BoA, you look 20, but you came with a more sophisticated look and sound with Kiss My Lips and it was so beautiful, it felt like evolution.

now Nega Dola feels flat for me. the fact that it's a recent slang in korea and the MV/image makes me think she's just trying too much with a younger audience and it sucks. the song structure is also very weird. I hope this is another GAME/Hurricane Venus situation and her title track is more like her.

the MV views are also very disappointing. I guess I'm not the only one that feels like that.

^strange, i didn't get that vibe at all. i feel like dancing tracks were always her forte. She said on weekly idol she went for a more hip-hop oriented sound and even got a cool choreographer she saw on social media for it.

Can i ask how old you are? I'm her age and I don't feel old nor do I try to stay relevant even though I teach teens for a living. I still read manga, play games and I'm just fun and "young" person all around. BoA has the same vibe seeing her on live shows and she just likes to try things - even more I don't think she needs to stay relevant since she basically owns SM.

I'm 23 and I'm a sagittarius so I tend to exaggerate lmao sorry. I guess the word "young" isn't even the right way to describe my thoughts - I'd say I meant the audience that relies on memes and just listens to a single and burn it and goes to the next one. like trying to fit. I guess the "recent slang" thing threw me off a little bit. I'm sorry I sounded like an ageist which is why I think my comment sounded a little rude.

actually I started listening to the song with loud speakers and I'm feeling it a lot more. I guess my mood made me hate everything at first.

^a nah you are not the only one disliking it. I like it, but I#m not crazy about it either. She is an korean idol after all - there probably is a certain pressure to stay relevant - but I guess there is also always a new image. Hurrican Venus's GAME was more also more playful than the title track.
