ayu's diva attitude bothers me sometime. Why does this happens to celebs? could that happen to any of you? I dont really understand fame and what comes with it.

Basically, you have money.

And you work for the money [well, depends. With Ayu, she works her skinny butt off.] and it gets stored in your bank or w/e.

If you live normally, buying normal clothes and eating at normal restaurants, you'll obviously have a ton of money left, which most people don't do if they receive/earn large sums. There's also the option that most take, and that's to live luxuriously. If you had the opportunity to buy anything you wanted, wouldn't you? I think that's the idea behind Ayu and many other artist's "attitudes." If you have access to it/can do it, why not?



I know that Utada Hikaru is one who doesn't really spend her money, but she's a different case. She's very... "normal" for a pop star.

Yeah, totally. But whats weird is that she seemed to mellow out during the Duty era and to an extent I am... She always seemed greatful, but then kinda became untouchable.
There are some stars you can imagine going out with and having fun but ever since RAINBOW Ayu has always just been some star. And that's all I see now.

And sure, people will always say she's earned her money and can do what she wants with it but surely there is a line. She could just charter a jet rather than take up more seats (For a Teddy for heavens sake). Plus, giving your teddy a seat is surely a sign of madness if ever I saw one. LOL I can just see her whispering to the bear how 'they don't understand us, all those people in economy. You and me kid, we'll stay together'. Crazy, gonna crazy. Bless.

Well, she's definetly some sort of diva. She's buys a lot of stuff, but so would do I if I had all the money she has!

But then again, she's not a bad diva. She treats her staff equally and puts a lot of effort into arranging her concerts and other events. To me, Ayu is very down-to-earth person, buying shoes and clothes is only the surface. And she definetly knows how to have fun!

i find that it's very normal of ayu to spend her money...afterall most females loves to shop and when she spends, she is actually helping the industry.

I dunno...she spends her money like a diva but she doesn't have the diva attitude...atleast to her fans from what I've seen...which is good...coz there are less popular artists and they are not so nice to fans. I have no problem with her spending lots of money shopping..it's not like she is doing anything bad to hurt anyone or whatever. If I have lots of money like her, I would be doing a lot more shopping than that and demand more than her.
