I guess if you don't have a habit of buying Mika's singles , you wouldn't feel that much/pinch when comes to getting STAR

if not , then you might feel cheated seeing that the same songs (be it A or B-sides) will all be included in the album

@ Pei Yee - yeah I think so . I hope Sony BMG Taiwan will leave that aspect intact xD

hmm,i went to yahoo auction and check her previous albums.and their so called 'deluxe 3 sided packaging' is actually like normal casing with a slipcase?correct me if i am wrong.i'm abit confused.

so I assume the same thing will follow for STAR again

Are you kidding me?
VOICE had 4 new songs (5 if you include anata ga iru kara)
YES had 6 new songs
MUSIC had 5 new songs
LOVE had 4 new songs
TRUE had 4 new songs

4 songs would be still ok, but 2?! WTF seriously.
YES remains the best album regarding that matter and that they actually had 2 different covers for each edition.

I feel I had come to realize I was a STAR in these several years. Although I'd been thinking "Goodness knows what will happen tomorrow" since I debuted. But I could finally have the confidence that "I'll be able to carry on after this, 'cause I could have come this far". So, I think it's very nice to release the album "STAR" at this timing. And it's also my 10th anniversary.

There's a sense of isolation in me, of course. I've been supported by wonderful staffs, and also I've been helped by many talented people at the time of making music. Indeed, I'm very grateful for those matters, but ultimately, it's always me who has to take responsibility for deciding everything. In that sense, I'm alone as well when I'm on the stage. But now, I became to enjoy those circumstances. Originally, as for isolation, I don't think it's hateful nor it's lonely. I'm a person who prefers to do everything by myself rather than blame others.

Those days when I made my debut, I admit that I sometimes did what I wanted to do. Like, I suddenly took my shoes off on a stage...(laugh). But now, I got to be understood by the staffs around me, and I try to talk to them that "I'd like to do in this way next, how do you think ?". Though I don't basically worry what someone else is thinking about me, I always try to confirm how those people close to me and the members do think.

The last tour turned out to be a big event for me. I really had been in good condition, as the timing of the tour and my tension fitted perfectly. And I could get an enthusiastic response that all the things like lessons or physical preparations I had done for the tour created a result successfully. Thanks to the tour, I've come to think that "I can surely do the next live well too". And also come to image the lives when I'm making songs.

I think the situation is getting better step by step. Of course, I know I have lots I have to do. Especially, I'm now 27 years old and I'm right at the stage of voice breaking, I think I must have proper training now. They are all necessary for me to keep singing in the future. 'Cause I can never do any other job already...(laugh).

Yeah, you're hilarious.

I find the fact that we're only getting 2 songs ridiculous because when ALWAYS came out, that single had 3 new songs. Key word being SINGLE. It doesn't make sense to me that we get more new songs when she releases a single than we do when she finally puts out an album after two years!

Well well, there's nothing we can do about it anyway.. I would rather not be a fan of her sometimes, Sony really doesn't care about her hardcore fans at all.
At least it's a good thing for those who didn't buy the singles, but for people like me who did, in the end it's not really worth paying 3333yens at all...

Here even if we include SONG FOR A WISH as an inedit, it would still be 3 new songs, which is really a big joke.

I just hope she'll come up with something better after... I might just stop buying her singles.

Moreover, they're really lazy just reusing an alternate picture from Ichiban Kirei na Watashi wo 's photoshooting. I wouldn't complain if it was a FILM LOTUS or even a recut single, but that's an ALBUM damn.
It feels like it's just an album to release an album pre-best... sad somehow.
