Have you Ever sang an Ayu song for a recital or something?
Hi there...in a couple of weeks, for our music literature class, we have to sing a song...I chose "Will"...I'm SO FRICKEN NOIVOUS!!! Anyways, anyone ever sing an Ayu song for a formal occasion? I sang Endless Sorrow for a scholarship audition once .

Yeah, I've performed Dearest, GREEN, Together When..., You were..., BALLAD and A Song for xx before The first time is always the hardest lol but once to keep on doing it you become more confident and stuff ^__^

Cool! I've done "I am...", "dearest" and "Endless Sorrow" I am and dearest were The Way To Say English versions but Endless Sorrow was Japanese. 2 of them were at gatherings in halls and one was my sister's wedding!! The first time is deffinatly the hardest but I find just focusing on one point anywhere in the hall and it helps keep your concerntration. If I look at people I get put off and forget the lyrics! hehe. Is it a live band? Coz two of my times were live bands but one was recored piano. I MUCH prefer live coz it gives you abit more power you know?
Would love to see a video of it when you've done it

I gave my music teacher the notes for Endless Sorrow, so he played it on the piano while I sang. Had difficulty reaching the highest notes, but it didn't sound all that bad. Afterwards he told me he thought we should perform it for the rest of the school, but I was too shy I guess and said no

I have sang many Ayu songs in front of a couple people...but that's it . I would gladly do a recital or mini concert with Ayu's songs if I had the chance.

I sang forgiveness for my high school talent show 7 years ago, I didn't win

I also sang A Song is Born for Sakura con (Seattle anime convention) 2005, didn't win either but I got a picture with Jpop band angela and a CD signed by them wearing my Duty Ayumi Hamasaki costume



P.S. I made the gloves too but wasn't wearing them there... I can't remember why

On December I sang MOON in Spanish (my adaptation) next to some other member here as a final exam in our Singing Class.

I've performed evolution on a Karaoke Contest at a Con, and that's about it.

Hopefully I'll sing some more Ayumi.

Oh sorry Yeah the site has been down for a while. He's working on a new layout for us atm but its taking a while.
"The Way To Say" is a project that me and my sister started where we translate Ayu songs (and some other Jpop artists) and addapt them into singable, rhyming lyrics that keep true to Ayu's original meaning and then we record them for people to hear
