Specially because the majority seems to love it, and even I that didn't love it bought it as well (pre-ordered it in may and don't regret it even if I didn't love the album)

lol What does age have to do with anything?? FYI, Namie is 35 and Ayu is 34 so there's not a huge age gap. Just because Ayu acts like a child 90% of the time, doesn't mean she's still in her 20s.

Ayu came out of her super popularity status not that long ago, Namie has over 20 years of career, she already had her bottom (pretty much when Ayu was on her peak) and now is back to the top She'll never sell as much as she used to back in 1996~1998, but she's selling amazingly for today's standards...

Let's hope Ayu can do the same in the future

Exactly, 1 year, 35 >> 34.

Honestly, I don't think age matters either...I mean Madonna comes back with hits every so often and she's well into her 50s and J.Lo pops out hits in her 40s, and Cher even had big hits in her 60s soooo yeah lol.

Anyway...I wonder if the second day numbers will come out soon....what time is it in Japan? Isn't it like....the morning there or the afternoon? Obviously, I'm clueless as to time zones and what not.

Age is just a number, she looks at least 10 years younger than she is. She sells so much because her music is adapting to the current trends + she has great promotion and a "clean" image (no recent scandals, no sexyness, etc).
Namie deserves these numbers, at least we still have her to deliver good music in a market dominated by ****** idols. Maybe one day Japan will go back to paying attention to all the great soloists that also deserve success.

Anyways, let's see how this goes! Pretty sure she'll top Uncontrolled.
