Hahaha! The Misclasifiction corner. ;D

NEVER EVER is my favorite kind of pop song. Its like a mash of the west and the east. It has a nice Jpop flavor to it. It's like Jpop-rock.

While its good that its R&B influences are recognised I do have to say that ourselves is not 'rock' in the slightest. Its an R&B pop song with an Arab-pop flavour that was in all likelyhood inspired by Kiss Kiss by Holly Valance and other similar songs during the start of the R&B/Arab-pop crossover of 2003. The trend is, if anything, still ongoing - Amuro Namie's done several. Other good examples are songs by Beyonce such as Baby Boy, Naughty Girl and Beautiful Liar sung with Shakira. Ayu's was just a little less overt.

Maybe we should make anew genre specially for Ayu songs. They're called "AyuSongs". I know. Lame. Sorry.
