many artist are going through hard times, and they actually manage to put out really good albums, i dont think its an excuse.
You can definitely take advantage of your situation (like ayu's) to pull amazing songs, but i feel ayu used the same formula in this album a little too much. To make a strong song you DONT have to use rock guitars to make it powerful, the feeling i have is that ayu tried to fill the emotion of the song with the melody & guitars instead of with her voice
