I will guess that most seeing the pics don't read Japanese because Ayu writes that they are "usagi no mashumaro" = "marshmallow bunnies." After looking it up, evidently, these marshmallow critters are usually rolled in coconut shavings.

It'd be sad if I couldn't recognize mantou as I am Chinese. :/

LOL, . When you talked about bunnies I was thinking something else (cuz I didn't look at the pic while looking at the scan). So I thought you're talking about the bunnie mantou, the ones used as decorations at the side of a plate. After that I reloaded that pic again and looked at the bunnies and I knew it couldn't be mantou . I couldn't read Japanese so I didn't know what that was . So my guess was some buns . My bad my bad
