Those who are overreacting seem to be suffering from some kind of anxiety issue. Calm the heck down. If you don't like it, check out something else or wait for the next thing. It's not the end of the world, seriously life moves on. It'll be ok.

It seems as though this news thread has morphed into something I'd normally see in polls or chat-rooms haha.

What I can say is, and excuse me if I'm naive, but, Ayu can't please everyone... no one can please everyone.

If you hate it like dirt, then that's okay; it's your opinion.

If you love it beyond words, then that's fine too; again, it's your opinion.

Some people like leopard print, some people hate the color orange, some people love the desert, and some people hate short hair (just examples)

I could love/hate the cover for whatever many reasons I have, and that would be fine.

On another note, I don't think it's fair to just say "Ayu caused -so and so-". Who knows how much control she had over this album cover? None of us were at any meetings Avex was holding about the direction of this album and so we shouldn't/can't comment on that.

Who knows if she wanted to go to some exotic, non-mainstream place, but Avex said no? They don't HAVE to listen to her every word. For all we know, they could be strapped for cash.

Sure, we all know Ayu has tons of control over the direction of her career, but who's to say that she had control over this as much as we'd/she'd like.

This could've been the product of a compromise for all we know.

If you don't wanna, don't; if you wanna, go for it. Either way, it's your decision. No one is 'stupid' for liking/not liking the covers, they can like whatever they want. Simple as that.

If she likes how the covers came out, I'm happy for her, and I'm still buying the album.

Here's my question.. Why people just be happy for Ayu and move on?

It makes me sad that some people are bashing her just because they're not satisfied with the album's cover.

Lol Europe's expensive isn't an excuse. If she can go on tour in Asia and sleep in 5 star hotels with like 200 de-humidifiers, she can go to Europe for a photoshoot.

Uh, yeah, but where were the A BEST 2 songs remastered? NYC. Where was Bold & Delicious and Startin' recorded? NYC. Where was INSPIRE filmed? LA. Those two cities are still great for different musical perspectives and opportunities.

As for the Europe thing, okay then. I see your point about spending money while in Asia. But one could also ask along with, "Why not Europe?": "Why not South America? Why not Africa? Why not Australia?, etc". One doesn't have to go far away places to make an effort. Hell, Miyavi's live in Germany this past summer was kinda bad. He didn't do as well as he did while in Asia. I would like to see Ayu branching out to other places too but I think she can still do a good job staying in one place.

Same goes for her single covers. Plus the covers never have anything to do with the pvs.
