I had a bean bag pillow at Ryokan Kangetsu too! lol!

(BTW, Hi Blasterion and Hatix! I always remember Minato Mirai, that view is amazing!).

For the second one, I went to Ueno and found a reseller (is easy to find) that was selling tickets very cheap (like 12.000 yen if I'm not wrong. Hatix, please correct me if I'm wrong), so I got them at the same day of the concert. They were a very good seats though.

So... I recommend to all of you to get your tickets directly from resellers at Japan. Is cheaper and is the easiest way to get them.
100 meters? More like 40 meters from the stage, and 10 meters from the round catwalk thing in the middle . These tickets were 45.000 yen though from an auction... These were B-block, but very close to the center catwalk (only 6 seats further). A-block (closer to the main stage), can go from 30k up to 80k+.
The second day we had tickets at about a distance of 50 meters. These were 7500 yen (still have it in my expenses list from last year ) Which I think was less than original retail value, which was 7800 yen if I remember correctly.
But indeed, the best way would probably be to go to the reseller shops. The one in Ueno is bigger than the one in Harajuku.

When talking about blocks in the center (!), A-block is usually too expensive. Go for B or C-block. Yokohama has 4 rows of blocks and 3 columns of block. Yoyogi has 5 rows of blocks and 5 columns, I think. I would not recommend D or E blocks in the center . Try to get a cheap one on the side then. Which can sometimes be very good as well if you're not too much to the back (like our second day seats).
Blocks in the center are usually in a straightforward pattern, but the ones on the side and back are quite different, they mostly have an unusual pattern, and they can have the same letters as in the center. That's why it's stated on the ticket if it's arena&side (for Yoyogi) and center&arena (for Yokohama). But let's wait for the tickets to come out, so the seat location discussion can start again

P.S. @ mane: still have a video recording from the top floor of Minato Mirai ;p)
(P.S.2 @ Avex: When is that concert DVD coming out???!!)

I went to the Yokohama performance twice last year, same as Mane and Hatix,
the first one we all went together actually and yes Mane, the view from minato mirai was amazing indeed + elevator
I got the tickets for the first show on yahoo auctions japan through a middleman service, they were C-block tix, final row I think,
but they were fine since Yokohama arena isn't as big as Yoyogi.

For the second show I bought tix at a reseller shop in Ueno on the same day as the show,
there were quite a few to choose from in different price ranges.
The tix I bought were about the same or a bit cheaper than the original prices,
again C-block but they much closer to the (catwalk)stage(thingy)
..my sis almost caught a ball!! it bounced off her fingers lol

but anywayz, you shouldn't have any problems getting tickets if still don't have any when arriving in Japan..
or you can even buy some outside the arena or when exiting the train station

p.s. @ Mane & Hatix I still have a pic of the 4 (+ my sis) of us at minato mirai

Yoyogi is rather longer but a bit more narrow than Yokohama, I think.

@ Blasterion: oh,I didn't remember we took pic of us four ;p
Got one of you three though and that video. Will pm you about it

To all!

Another recommendation!
It's great to meet AHS members on a concert!
For us was very exciting and joyful.

So try to meet with other AHS members at concerts, it's a very nice experience.

@Blasterion and Hatix:
oooh!!!
That's amazing! I'll PM to both ^_^

They told you the row too?
When I got my tickets they wouldn't really tell me where they were... only that they were 1st floor (Yoyogi gym).

Thats bad ... isnt it?

Looks pretty nice either way no matter which 8th row.. :O

I hope they're in the center though.. 8th row in the side-thingies isn't too fun looking. But you get looked at and you get the Ayu spheres thrown towards you! :O

i want to ask some questions..
i have plan that one day if i go to Japan... i must attend One of Ayu's concert..
so, do you guys think if it's better not to follow a tour group..and go by yourself.. or following tour group?
as for me, it's probably pretty much a waste of money if i just go to Japan by myself because i can't see a lot of nice places... but if i go by myself...i really don't know how to go... but my aim of going to Japan is must have seen Ayu's concer too.. but considering the tickets to japan is pretty expensive..i really want to do both..

is it possible? i'm afraid that i can't have my schedule fit with one of AYu's tour schedule...

give me some opinions pls?

You could 'follow a tour group' if you like, it's not like you're forced to follow on every activity they arrange. You could take a day off in order to go to an Ayu concert if you're in any area nearby where it's held.

You also asked where you could sit for 20,000yen, if you look in the first post you can see examples of where you might be seated with reference pictures. You'll find the information under Price Examples and Seating References.

immel: hmmm yea i know.. i just afraid that the tour that i'll follow will only have one day stay on Ayu's concert day, i mean like..example:
if AYu's concert will be held on 6.4.08 at Tokyo, then i'll just arrive at Tokyo on 5.4.08, i'm afraid that on the next day, i will go to other city already and the tour won't come back to Tokyo on short time...

so i'm pretty confused

how much of the ticket price if i want to sit on the B row on the center one?

@AyUmIXx - If you look up a tour you will see that they have a very clearly planned schedule, so you will know where you'll be on which days. If you don't find a tour that fits in with an Ayu concert you'll have to go on your own. B section tickets in the middle would probably be around 20-35000 yen, it's hard to estimate depending on where exactly.

Going on your own isn't that bad, especially if you go to Tokyo. I spent 2 weeks there trying my best to get lost in all kinds of part of that town, I was usually out walking between 10-12 hours per day... that town is ENDLESS I tell you. Anyway, I kinda learned to find my way around the entire central Tokyo thanks to this. I did have a small pocket map, in case of emergency. And if you get totally lost, just ask anyone for the closest Metro station since all Metro lines connect at some point you'll be able to get back to anywhere.

@ShadeKeiko - You have to ask FDJP if it is A-block tickets and WHICH block it is since they are numbered 1-6 (1 and 6 being the far ends). If it is A block, 8th row would be some where in the middle of it, but you still don't know if it's to the right or left.

yea i know.. going on our own is the best thing..but just i want to see other cities too like Osaka, Mt.Fuji.., Disneyland...and etc...
because going to Japan is like my once experience maybe, it's expensive, so i need to really enjoy everything that the tour gives.. but of course seeing Ayu's concert is my main reason but yea, seeing Japan is also important...

hmm Dilemma~

if i want to go to Ayu's concert, i'm willing to get the B section on the center, that's the best already (for me)... so, getting Ayu's tickets are the best through yahoo!auction?

All the information you'll need in order to choose the way you want to get your tickets is right there in the guide, under Concert Tickets.

Bah, either way, I'm going to see Ayu!
Nihon Gaishi Hall is split up into letters... you should ask them what letters are on the tickets. O_O

10,000 people, not that big for an arena. Around average size, little less.
