Yeah, but can you blame her? Bubblegum innocence doesn't sell records forever, you know. And her change was gradual. We all knew it would only be a matter of time...she had always used a sexy image in her music - have you seen the ...Baby One More Time music video?

Know what? When this poll came out in 2003 I would have definitely voted that I HATED her. But in mid 2007 I started actually LISTENING to her music, like her album music instead of just her singles, and I didn't mind them at all. The way the media portrays her made me mad and then when I started seeing videos of her getting mobbed by paparazzi all the time I felt like I wanted to stick up for her, it wasn't fair to her.. Then when Blackout came out I officially became a true Britney fan because that album is her best EVER imo it is so much more mature than her previous music.
So yes I like her

I hate her...theres 3 things that need to be positive for me to like an artist:
Do I like the music overall? Do I like the lyrics? Do I like the live performances? I only like 1 song(TOXIC) her lyrics are horrible and she doesnt sing live....

No no no no and no. I'm surprised to see so many negative votes, actually. I totally cannot stand her. I like the style of the hard electronic stuff she's put out recently, but her voice and especially LYRICS just KILL it for me. I can't do it...

I think she really likes singing actually, so it's not like she's doing it 100% for the $$$.
I really like her songs, I was a Britney fanatic back in 04 lol... she's still great, and I still listen to her.
