She's really upset over not performing in MS so I don't think she'll cancel PCDL, she's too strong to do that even if doctors say she must rest she'll make... even so, I would like to see how she realizes is a human person, not a Avex robot... Ayu won't cancel the concerts I think...she's opening for Kouhaku...if she can't use one hand...I think she will still perform.

As for CDL...what, they'll move it back maybe? Perhaps she just won't use that hand as well. Although I'm not sure how good she'll be able to sing if shes on Vicadin or something lol

It appears that its only been announced today -

J-pop diva Hamasaki Ayumi (30) had to undergo emergency surgery after she injured her hand in a fall on Christmas Eve. Her agency didn't reveal the extent of the injury but said she had surgery on Christmas Day. On doctor's orders, she has had to cancel a scheduled appearance on today's edition of the TV Asahi show "Music Station."

It reminds me the leg incident in STADIUM TOUR 2001 where she fell to a 2 meters hole and injured her leg but still performed on the same day even though it was hard.
I guess she had to cancel Music Station but I think she's strong enough to make the CDL in a few days! I think she really wants to keep the performance up.
