Yeah! That's why I'm a bit more of a stickler for a star's personality. If I don't like them, I generally don't listen to their music. In the western music industry, I'm a bit more lenient because well.... then I wouldn't be listening to anyone LOL.

haha, exactly. And really, that's why I listen to less and less modern western music these days - because their personalities turn me off.

That's why, to me, there's no one like her, no one quite on that "level."

I could name other people that are just as special as her. I have my own singer, whom I sincerely love, but I don't need to glorify them to such a degree. They're all people with their own unique stories to tell.

Anyway... I pray that the inside pictures will be better, although I am not holding my breath for it.

^-Me too. Especially about the uniqueness of her music... I dunno, there has always been that "Ayumi quality factor" (lol I dunno how to describe it) or something in her songs imo, even in the ones that seem the most common.

Ayu's music has a sort of uniqueness.. I mean isn't classic pop or rock is Ayu-pop and Ayu-rock. Lol it's quite difficult to explain, right?

btw I don't pay attention to fans complaining.
It's just different taste even if sometimes it's getting annoying.

Popularity goes up and down for everybody. It's normal, even for Ayu. And it's normal that more people are complaining in those times where an artist isn't as popular as before.

If they were all acting superior and stuff all the time, and like they were all that, society there would not like them at all.


Anyway...with regards to koda's cover...I feel like they're both kind of in the same boat. Koda's has gorgeous scenery and colors, but her face really ruins in, much in the same way Ayu's face ruins this one.

The only plus, is that Koda's head is not the main focus of the picture, and Ayu's is.

I hope they make USE of the beautiful scenery... I don't think she did that very well in the 2009 calender of Hong Kong... It looked like it could have been taken anywhere.... *rolls eyes* and with the way the Bali pictures turned out for the single... my hopes aren't high. PROVE ME WRONG AYU, PLEASE!!!

the covers is very beautiful
i think is because of the sunset/sunrise covers (which i loved)
and it looked similar and also the "overphotoshopped" (that no ones shuts up about)

A bit of a stupid question.

Do you guys know where the calendars are sold normally in Japan?

My plane leaves from Japan on Oct 24 at 5pm JPT so I'm hoping I have the time to go buy it in the morning on my last day there...
