Energize I don't think there is even a question about. It seems almost 9 times out of 10 people who went to the live thought it was lipsynched.

Audience, I only remember seeing a couple people mention it as possible, so that one I don't know.

Rollin' sounds pretty live. Sparkle - probably only partially live.

I'd say it might've been the back track helping out during the chorus, but that's it.

Maybe she sung it partially live for the last dates but I'm pretty sure that it was usually live since Sparkle had the worst vocals of the whole concert when I saw her in May.

Question to those who went to AT09: which performances were your favorites?

Mines were:

Rule
GREEN,
Days
SIGNAL
rollin'
NEXT LEVEL
Curtain call (even though I do not like the song very much, she was singing very nicely)

I loved Rule and Signal. Those stand out very clearly to me. Heh. Sparkle and Rollin' were pretty fun too and Next Level had pretty backgrounds and stuff. But Rule and Signal were tops for me.

Humming 7/4 (I've always wanted to do "EVERYBODY GO EVERYBODY JUMP!" thing. It's so much fun! lol)
everywhere nowhere

Interludes-wise, I loved the ballads opening video, Bridge to the Sky, and Load of the SHUGYO. And, even though there was no video, Pieces of SEVEN was amazing as well.

to the people who saw rollin' live, does she always do that "cutesy" voice in it live?

I think rollin' was the running around, cutesy crazy-azz robo talk that people were laughing at and were "WTFing" at during the shows, haha.

She wasn't really running around... more like either standing there or just doing some crazy funky dance jig thing, haha. She didn't seem to move around the stage much during that song, if I remember correctly. That's also the one with the cool hand-downward-wave thing that the other fans picked up really quickly, haha. I'm pretty sure she also uses that voice during all the performances

rollin' is actually one of my favorite performances from the concert lol Everybody seemed to be really into it!

I think it's very ironic for EnergizE to be lipsynced,
because she says "let me sing forever~" when she is not even singing... -_-

I was a little suspicious of Audience, only because the vocal performance reminds of 100% the AT 06 tour one.
But I dont know, I think it's live, with a playblack~
Of course, I think even Ayumi knows right now her lives are not so good...
I just wish she could get back into singing good live!! somehow~~
She just needs to do her old, high pitch songs, I think.
Remember vogue at PCDL? It sounded much better than any of her new songs.

I'm pretty sure Vogue (and Honey) weren't live xD

Even though I also think they were pretty much lip synced the fact that they sounded pretty lame makes me question that xD

Haha xD Me, too, much of PCDL to me seemed playback, but was sung too bad to actually be playback xD But I guess I know the reason: It's very likely that she decided to sing something playback AFTER her accident, so she wasn't able to record tracks that are as good as her usual playbacktracks, makes sense, doesn't it?

Note to everybody: Please don't kill me xD I didn't name any specific songs and it's only a guess, but it seems really possible to me, because Ayu always wants to give the best possible performance

This happens to me all the time as well, just surprised my mother yesterday when watching TV, because I noticed a playback after around a second and she didn't notice at all...for Ayu it's much harder than for many others, because of her new recordings and her more-or-less realistic mouth movements, she does it so much better than most artists.
But I'd prefer not to notice it at all as well, especially when I'm not sure about it it kills me a little inside, because I can't enjoy the performance as much as when I'm sure it's live, but I want to enjoy it.

I always assumed this as well. From Vogue to Angel's Song.

No one really is complaining. Just saying what it is or isn't since so many people were praising it as a great vocal performance.

Yes, you are right, I used a wrong word I'm sorry . But, despite that, I don't understand why it have to be lip sync just because it sounds good... There are lots of reports by fans but no one said something about lip sync in Sparkle. Even we have heard a rip from the concert, and maybe it's me but I don't see any evidence of it.

That seems to be a trend here, whenever she is doing something good, there is always something "bad" in the back.

^I'm pretty sure it was, though Honey had loud backtrack you can hear how Ayu's voice changes through the song when she became tired
