Yeah, with the ringtone-y things, they can choose to release them all at once, or only choose the songs with PVs to promote the album among other sorts of weird combinations.

(I hope she at least performs Microphone live once or twice on TV... MUSIC FAIR, y'all?)

Hm, it's also a good question when will be the PVs aired? Or which PVs will be aired before the album release? I don't know, but I have the feeling that we don't know much for certain with this album, everything is so... mysterious. XD
And this strategy works, I'm so hyped for the new songs and PVs!
It's good that it's just a month to go till the album is officially out!

The PVs usually get aired a few days before the release, so they'll most likely air during the weekend prior to the release date (or a few days earlier). We'd usually get the first PV to air and a full leak a day or so after (if memory serves me well~).

Oh my god. Is this Ayu's first #1 on the Amazon.jp best seller chart!? Holy crap.

Anyway, she's #1 with the box [it's sold out right now at Amazon] and #14 with the CD+DVD, and #864 with CD-only.

I'm... kind of shocked. I wonder just how many copies were sold with the box...

For comparison, You were.../BALLAD never broke the top 10 at Amazon, I think.

Was gonna order the special edition on YA but it's out of stock. Signed up so they'll let me know if they get anymore, but dunno if that's likely? Wonder if I should just order the CD + DVD edition? Hope I can get the SE even if it will cost a fortune lol! And I've just realised all the Future Classics merchandise is available to buy too - I want the t-shirt!

Not really. PVs usually air about maybe just under 2 weeks until the release. I remember when Rule/Sparkle was coming out, when the PV aired I was listening to the PV constantly for about a week and a half before we got a leak

It appears Hideaki Tokunaga is releasing the final volume of his VOCALIST series.. (VOCALIST 4) on the same day as Ayu's new album. His last one sold about a million in 2007/2008, but I don't really know what happen here. Maybe the songs in this new VOCALIST album won't be as attractive as "CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" and "Yuki no Hana"...?

#1 is still likely, but #2 is a possibility...

Now I feel kinda dumb, seeing how many didn't get the chance for that boxset. I myself can't really afford it in the long run, but I could've bought a few copies (I was up early on this) and then sold them to the poor souls who didn't even get a chance. Damn!

I wasn't talking about the singles, both (don't) Leave me alone and NEXT LEVEL aired only a couple of days prior to the album's release as far as I remember. It's certainly not weeks...

as for Rule some of us had the actual leak two weeks before the PV aired

Have you tried http://www.play-asia.com ? I never get how it works, cause they update late the new items, I mean later then hmv cdjapan etc, and when it's finally up, some items are already sold out.

This happened to me with the usb, luckly cdjapan re-issue the usb and the rest is history.Hope cdjpan re-stock with the box set.
