and that is why i never/ stopped buying their newspapers... seriously most of the local newspapers... i don't know why they hated ayu so much (or maybe just a little? who knows? but judging from all those absurb articles...)... and most of us the singaporean fans (back then) guessed that someone from the media might had offened ayu and that is why she never consider coming back to singapore after the bad expereince. sadz..

maybe we the singapore fans should write in loads of complaint letters to the media for misleading the public about ayu. seriously, i am quite pissed off with them too (especially seeing all the poor reviews of her CDs, and more towards negative articles about her)

Yeah, back when they were spreading about her having STDs, most of my friends actually came to ask me if its true. -___- Spreading rumours is ok if people know they're talking rubbish, but it's just sad when some actually do believe them...

17th March news report. This time round they seem to quote from taiwan news media.

Rough translation :
Ayumi Hamasaki had assets of NT$11.8 billion, but she didn't donate at the immediately. Only announced on they day before, that a charity t-shirt will be made on sale and all the porceeds will be donated to the victims. Part of the netizens bombarded : "Instead of using the money to make t-shirts, might as well donate the amount directly."
