I didn't think they did at all though :/
I don't think people realise how huge the union jack was in Japan during that time last year ![]() and kuu's covers aren't even about that...she's just wearing super trendy clothes lol

I don't really know what the people who are criticizing the album covers expected. I mean, this is a collaboration of (somewhat) summer-y songs released while Kuu is on hiatus, of course the covers aren't going to blow you away. I personally expected much less so I really like them.

I cant believe people compare Dejavu to RnRC covers.. She 'jacked' it? Really? The whole concept of Dejavu photoshoot was Alice in Wonderland, an English book. I doubt her and her team used the union jack for anything other than referencing the origin of the concept and like emi said, using clothes that were popular at the time. Kumi wore underwear for JAPONESQUE covers, did Ayu steal that cover for Party Queen? Sorry to be all defensive but I've read the 'copying' theory so many times and had to say something. All that said, I do agree about the amateurish photoshop

Exactly. I can understand that when people see Dejavu covers they think of RnRC covers, but to say that Kumi "jacked" the style is completely wrong. Its not as if Kumi looked at the cover of RnRC and said "I want to copy that!". England is big everywhere, what with the Royal Wedding and all.
