A Classical cover & tracklist

Is something like this really worth it for 15th Anniversary releases project?

Really dissapointed, I was hope something more awesome will come because I thought the idea of classical is great.

Ok, yeah seriously this just looks thrown together. (which it probably is) Most of the songs on the tracklist have several different orchestra/acoustic versions. And only 10 tracks total + old photo, eeek.

btw, wow I don't know if I've ever seen a thread get to 15 pages this fast, lol.

Because this is a throw away release and Avex are cheap asses.

#1 tweeting ayu massively how'd we hate the cover and wants ayu to re-record the songs only for this release

Well not what I expected... track list is ok but I don't think I've ever seen Ayu reuse a cover.

Yeah, because that would totally help. I think it'd just encourage her even more to just avoid using Twitter to communicate with her fans.

Please enlighten me as you what is reused and what is recycled in this release?

As far as I can see they...

a) had someone remake the cover by hand
b) rearranged all of the songs using a new composer/arranger (Kousuke Yamashita)
c) are using a full orchestra for the songs (at least it looks that way right now... quite a few tracks on MY STORY Classical did not use a full orchestra, but still had that 'sound')

So I fail to see what people see as 'recycled', really. I'm pretty disappointed in most of the overreactions to this release.

Do you actually think the Japanese fans, casual listeners or general public would really research into which composer, arrangement or producer for orchestra classical, acoustic or piano or violin arrangements? etc To most people, orchestra or acoustic or piano whichever is similar to their ears... if you see the same old songs same track list, to the rest it is the same song unless u are going to buy the album and hear it many many times for classical themes.

If they're classically trained (like myself), yes. If it has a deeper, richer sound, it makes a world of a difference.
