And they're not "friends" lol Actually according to articles Ayu wants to expand overseas and she was looking for a Taiwanese singer to collaborate with. She chose JJ Lin because they have a friend in common... JJ Lin is not Taiwanese but his career is based in Taiwan, I guess that's why she chose him anyway lol

who's that friend btw, alvin goh it seems? yea i know JJ Lin is from Singapore but career based in Taiwan, just like Stephanie sun. he's good, i've seen his concert when he came to my hometown for a mini concert. well, it's kinda cool to know that ayu chose a male artist instead of a female one, probably Jolin is already snatched by namie LOLOL ![]()

Yep, it's Alvin Goh... It seems that Ayu likes collaborating with male artists the most. Except for a song is born, all of her duets were with guys when we think about it lol Jolin's music style and hers are very different... Jolin's style matches more with Namie's. If Ayu wanted a famous C-Pop female singer (based in Taiwan) to collaborate with, singers like Jolin or Elva would not fit. Stefanie Sun and A-Mei would though!

Yeah she said that before... But I can't remember which interview either. I wonder if it was the one from Rockin' on Japan?
