Anyway, Namie is much better. Koda's attempts at hip-hop are quite sad. |

But, not that I hate koda kumi, she reveals a little too much at times.

After hearing "No", I honestly can't say that Kuu is better so, yeah, ^^ Although I don't know enough about either, I can say Namie is better.

I canīt belive...you are a min erader! Just tought of that few days ago^^
all in all I say they are very differnet...namie has a nicer voice and does a ncie slow hip hop that is very americanischissusuusu... XD Koda has this hard urban voice like in Hot Stuff which I think is one of her bets style time....so both are good but there is one thing namie can do music together with all HIP HOP ARTIST: she and verbal (if he were bigger) or ZEEBRA would be a ncie couple...anyways in muisc she flows so well with them what amkes her an good...nearly the best hip pop artist^^ still she the QUEEN OF HIP POP

I'd say Koda, since, in my eyes, she pulls off the "sexy image" better than Namie, and to me Kuu puts more emotion into her singing than Namie. "No" is my favorite hip-hop song from her, but other than that, her singing can be quite dull sometimes.

Namie all the way; she stays true to the style.

Plus I must also add Namie is much better at perfroming live, especially hip-hop.
She has really great vocal control and sounds amazing while performing high energy and/or complex dance routines.

Namie... Kuu was never really completely hip hop/rnb... she was rnb/pop or hiphop/pop... lately it's more pop

I agree on this, Kuu is more R & B/pop.

I think earlier in Kumi's music career she was more hip-hop/R&B, but then as she got more popular she started shifting more toward pop.

I think the Urban style comes more natural to Namie, and I think Koda Kumi is just fake. Koda Kumi pimps whatever genre and style is in at the moment. I vote Namie since she's more real with it.

Namie. Duh. Although I'd love for Koda to go back to the more urban influences.

In terms of Japanese Hip-Hop, definitely Amuro Namie, because it's a distinctive hip hop sound to Japan. But when it comes to most like western American style hip hop, Koda Kumi all the way. It sounded like American people produced her hip hop tracks. Get Up & Move!! is like the Fergielicious of Japan XD

Whatever, Namie sounds almost identical to western hip-hop, it just has her own flavour and it's superior to the American product. Almost all of Namies stuff since 1999 is produced by American producers Dallas Austin and Full Force who make songs for TLC, Gwen Stefani, Kelis, Pink, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, etc etc.
