Sorry forgot to add on that at that time in April , they only announced 1 date (16th Sept) for namie amuro 25th ANNIVERSARY LIVE in OKINAWA

Normally such things tend to get announced months in advance , unlike say a less than 2 weeks last minute announced concert that sorta thing

I think while the concert itself is old news, the "new" announcement is that the concert will be streamed on TV a month later, as well as an additional edited version that contains backstage footage.

Why couldn't she set her concert in an indoor stadium this time? Wouldn't it just solve all the problems?

Some of the songs on Love Enhanced were Self-Cover (the term itself is stupid, you are right, but thats what they use) were rerecorded version of old singles with new vocals and new sound. Sometimes artist even rearrange the track (like most artist do when they cover) what makes it basically a cover of the original.

And it might sound odd but I find it interesting to hear an artiste's self cover of their own work

Cindy Lauper has one too, Kumis new version of walk or ayumis 15th Anni songs, Namies Love Enhanced (as I said) basically too (I HAVE NEVER SEEN is a totally different song). the easy way is to call it "... Version". I don't even think the term matters, it is jsut a fact that there could be an album with new version of old songs.

I feel more comfortable with the term "version". Self-cover is just so... weird.

but you still find it under the "Cover" page on wikipedia. It's probably just your own idea, but i don't find anything strange about the term anyways *shrugs* :

there is even a whole page called "Self-Cover" albums and since it is a music-term, it is ok. the term Cover itself must be wrong for you then, since it technically means something different, but thats just what it is called:

Because she's from Okinawa and they don't really have a great, large indoor venue.
