tbh, I don't think Flare was meant to wow.
 It seems like it was just a fun album for Shimatani to release~ Fun as in.. she liked making it... maybe? A lot of the tracks are imo very reminiscent of other tracks she's done before.

^we'll judge from the full songs...
last year, I got cheated by the previews of El Dorado and puraha no onna...which both sounded spectacular...and TBH, if u were to just listen WAKE YOU UP from the preview...it really kills ur interest for the song because THE VERSES MAKE IT BETTER |

I just watch the first half of 雨の日には 雨の中を 風の日には 風の中を's pv on mtv...
and i totally change my mind on it.. I love the intro and the chorus sounds much more better with the intro... and i totally love the chinese name of 雨の日には 雨の中を 風の日には 風の中を - very 'poetic'[is that the right word?] i should say |

I was watching this drama about cellphones that transform into criminal fighters, and WAKE YOU UP's the theme song.
 They also played a commercial for "Flare".

Flare ranked pretty low on the NINKI with like 29 points or something.
[29/400 people would have purchased it]~ I'm expecting maybe 5k - 10k in album sales. D: Hopefully it doesn't result in anything that low.

NINKI is probbably wrong, as usual with these interest rankings. but i still think flare won't sell too good.
 i hope it does better than PRIMA ROSA, at least. maybe that's asking for too much, lol.

Hitomi hasn't really had that many GARNET MOON type upbeat songs, so I'm guessing this album won't have good sales unless she has some interesting promotion.
