dancey, sounds like utada, solo artist, not too popular. Sounds like you need to listen to JASMINE.

Oh hohohoho~! But Koshi's solo stuff is COMPLETELY different from B'z! Have you tried Ikimono-gakari? Also...

Try Aya Kamiki (who is HEAVYLY influenced by B'z)!

yet i don't EVER see anything on AHS about her. no downloads, no mentions, no nothing.

but actually, my opinion on that is that most AHS members aren't actually that open to new music. if you ever upload music from an artist people don't know, you will notice no one ever tries it out.

anyway, regarding akino arai...i LOVE monday, tuesday. its such a beautiful song.

^nope. They aren't. AHS is a place for mainstream Jpop...and that's really it.

Makes me sad sometimes...but used to it I guess. Although I can't get over people not listening to eiko shimamiya lol

but meh...I get most of my music from somewhere else, and I assume other people do the same...it's hard to find out about people though, when you don't know where to start...thats part of the reason why I created the "New Artists you're trying out" thread...

Anyway, I think my favorite song by akino is Kimi e Mukau Hikari, and kakusei toshi...apparently these are anime themes...who knew lol Her voice is beautiful and the music is so ethereal

I looove Kanaete, Tsuki no Hiru, Tsuki no Ie, and Voices! The three songs I listed are very nostalgic to me! (^_^) But you can't help what people do, emiko.

1) Hilchryme

they're an awesome duo which deals with hip hop/rap & they have 2 members , vocalist/rapper TOC & DJ KATSU .

Not a lot of people on AHS knows about them but if you do , then count yourself lucky as their material's really fantastic

They've been around for close to 6 years but only went major with their releases some 2 years ago . Their breakthrough hit's their 2nd single Shukashutou

TOC writes all the lyrics in the group while KATSU composed everything

2) Matsushita Yuya

Way before his breakthrough hit Trust Me , I already fancy this dude (even though he's the same age as my younger sister ;___; )

His mentor/producer is Jin Nakamura who's responsible for composing other R&B songs for NEWS's leader Yamashita Tomohisa's Loveless & EXILE's Futatsu ...

3) Kanon Wakeshima

I never met anyone else that's so unique , be it musically or apperance wise

if you like dark classic pop with plenty of bite , then Kanon might be up your ally

4) Acid Black Cherry

yasu-san might look X_X in pics & PVs but I actually somewhat enjoy his solo material

some of ABC's PVs are quite comic relief like 20th Century Boys & SPELL MAGIC but it's still good catchy rock at its best

5) Hidemi Uematsu

I don't know what happened to this under-rated lady ;__; but those singles that she has released so far are awesome

6) OLIVIA

She's releasing her GREATEST HITS album tomorrow so perfect timing to check her out xD

Her NANA anime inspired songs a little pain & Wish are some great songs to listen but I was told her older works were equally great too

===

wow this's shocking , I didn't recommend my kids BREAKERZ & let alone NEVER LAND & DAIGO STARDUST

Hopefully those recommendations do you some benefit/help
