I like it. It's nice and happy, and I don't find this any common with Fairyland except for the fact that it's on a beach, and shooting on the beach isn't really uncommon. It suits the song.

Overall, nice PV on it's own. The sad part is, there's no real replay value for me in it. I think I got as much of it as I wanted in the first viewing. Not to be mistaken for the fact that the vivid colors in this video were worthy of the single cover.

I still stand my ground and say ayu is coming off very bland this year with music videos. What the trend in these recent PVs are showing me is that it's like she's been traveling all these places to shoot these videos, but isn't getting any inspiration from it, which is quite sad. Then again, who has time for well-thought videos when you're doing concerts nonstop.

I think she's in MAJOR need of a hiatus for a few months.

This song still has a place in my heart though...or my head. Because it's been getting stuck in there at random times during the day lol.

lol, OK, I've found where Guam is.
It says it's pretty popular among Japanese as a tourist destination. She could have gone there. But on the other hand, it could have been anywhere on the Southern Pacific.

I don't highly expect Beautiful Fighters PV will be better. I can see avex spends money on other singer now not ayu.

Some mentioned in another thread that it was fairyland part 2 or something, and it even looked like it from the short CM caps. In some of the shots of Ayu alone on the beach, her poses were the same as fairyland beach shots. Even some of the camera angles looked similar to those fairyland beach shots. It just was a bit boring for me, not much actually happening. I prefer fairyland, it had more happening and was a bit different because of the fire scenes.

It's really camp.
I think they might of filmed the video when they took the pictures for the booklet that comes with (miss) understood. The hair is exactly the same and the setting looks similar.

the pics from those booklets were took a year ago. so NO

ayus hair(in blue bird PV) is shorter and way more orange . so NO

and the place from the booklets is Hawaii . so NO

The beginning is exactly like "fairyland". (upper view) And the sunset is like "fairyland" too. So is how, one by one, they danced in front of the camera.

From the PV, it seems like Ayu and her staff wanted to have a little trip and they decided "Hey! Why don't we shoot the PV too?". Too much randomness, too much people. Overall, quite boring indeed. And I'm convinced that I won't watch the PV again.

I don't like how some of you say "Well, what can you expect from a summer song? A dark PV?". It's not because it's a "summer song" that the PV has to take place in a beach like all of her summer songs' PV. Personally, I don't like the whole beach theme at all. It lacks originality.

On the brighter side, at least it's better than "Startin'" and "Born to be...".

My bet is that it was shot in Okinawa. Why travel to hawaii to shoot it when you can get i cheaper by shooting in Okinawa, which has alot of the same scenery...

Ok, I watched it. How come nobody feels that it looks like SURREAL PV when ayu stands on the hill ?

This PV looks like some rich people rent a boat and plays...

I love the last shot of ayu. Ayu is so beautiful.

What's your point? Ayu performed Startin' before (miss) understood was even released. It's totally possible they filmed the video a year ago because it would conflict with touring etc.

Maybe, I haven't sene the pictures from off my day in awhile but it's pretty similar.

I don't know if we have any official confirmation that it's not Hawaii or not..

Just saying that it looks pretty similar...

Like the song, I don't hate the video. But when you compare the videos that have come out this year(Startin', Born to Be, Blue Bird) to those that came out by this time last year (fairyland, alterna, Step YOU, is this LOVE, My Names Women); then yes, there is a big gap in the production values of those shoots.

I agree, the total PV production of last year was amazing, perhaps her best collection ever. Even the not so high budget ones were really good because they had an interesting story, were really pretty or had some "deep" meaning.

This year has been very bland compared, but looking at other artists PVs I think she's still among t
he ones having best PVs

What if.. DAI wrote this song for her for (at the same time ass "will" perhaps?)(m)u before she decided to toss it out of the album because of the geo stuff?? the PV was shot in Hawaii at the same time as fairyland, it was supposd to be on (m)u but, was to be released as a single instead..
I'd replace some of those geo tracks for blue bird any day. It would've made the album more consistent and better IMO. =P

Yeah, the beach theme is getting a little old now, this is the 3rd summer release that has a beach - INSPIRE, fairyland and BLUE BIRD. There are other places to set a summer PV than a beach
