Ayu different on stage??

You need to step up and be a man to admit that she lip synched. =p My grandma can claim the grass is blue in Japan because she's been there and not me, but that doesn't mean I have to believe her. Also you didnt read my post at ALL if you think my only argument is that she didnt yell COME ON! You can't discuss this. It's sooo clear as..as something that she lip synched at LEAST CDL07-08. I can't believe you're trying to claim she suddenly has magic vocals (<- no you didnt say this literally, but she has supernatural vocals if she did sing live as you "claim") that can pull off vocals almost entirely the same as a previous recording, LIVE when in most of the rest of the concert her vocals are less good, or while dancing her ass off doing a high flip, when in other lives when she definitely DOES sing live she has trouble with no choreography at all. It's just ridiculous and I'm not going to reply to this anymore. XD

BTW "Go Ladies" is easier to sing live than "COME ON!" because COME ON is right after a sentence in the chorus, and it'd be hard to time w/ the lip synching. But like I said idk about AT07 for sure. :3

Also, people who were at concerts sometimes claim different things so obviously that's not a fully reliable source either.

Edit: Checked out CDL07-08 and it's SO pre-recorded. Just compare it to AT07/CDL07-08's version. TV version's don't lie, sorry. End of story. I don't need to have your "godly" knowledge on everything-Ayu to know this, truehap. It doesn't even make sense to tell me to read up on all Ayu stuff? Like, what does that have to do with her lipsynching? Um, nothing. :')

Edit 2: Listened to the AT07 evolution live clip and ACTUALLY.. it doesn't sound too live other than the Ladies go and the other thing. But meh, idk the quality isn't too good. BUT if believing she didn't lip synch the song makes you feel better, suit yourself. :')

@truehap: I don't need "proof" that Ayu is a live singer, truehap? Where did I say that she isn't a live singer? Obviously almost everything she sings is live.

I have no reason to "protect" Ayumi considering her lip-synching, I barely listen to her any more, nor do I frequent this forum. I'm simply telling you to check it up more, there's so much to know about her and lip-synching and you really seem interested. There's been so many people like you before, do some research and talk to the people who were actually there, at the performance.

Everything you watch at home has been edited, touched up, tracks that were sung badly live (especially for TV versions) can sometimes be replaced by the original track or a re-sung version of this song because, trust me, Ayumi can sound really freaking horrible when you hear her truly live.

Really, get your facts straight and don't just say "I can hear it, so you are wrong".

Extremely live. The audience is also extremely pumped. EXTREMELY!!!! Like seriously. She even does that "GO LADIES~~~" and "HERE WE GO!" thing. Even an "IKUYOOOO!!~" Watch the AT07 Tudou streams if you need any proof that Ayu is a live singer or not..

She sounds amazingly good in these fancams of her AT07 live in Asia.. it's INSANE. There's a difference between being glaringly-obvious-lipsynching and a really good performance.

Also, I have CDL07-08 and was like, the first person in the US to even watch it... and I think the only track on there that really seemed kinda strange was STEP you [though she did sing it live on the CDL performance the day before so.. eh.] You can sort of tell when her voice is sorta mixing with the backing track during evolution though..

lip sync or not, atleast ayu still tries to put on a good show. Nobody can change how you think..if you believe she did and still want to claim that she did then good for you.

Well, I did and she did NOT lip-sync.
she sound good. not perfect but good and real.

plus, why would you think she lip-syncs all the time?
she obviously works on her voice and sounds good raw (reference the documentary scene of Ayu doing vocal warm ups b4 going on stage AT07)

AND this thread isn't about LIP-SYNCing ANYWAY.

some people are saying that she may look a bit aggresive cuz she's doing more rock-ish songs. but look at past performances; when she performances Because of you, she is not all gritting her teeth alot and the like. she's just rockin it out, emotional, but still just rockin it out.

A tip for you, Melrose, is to not keep editing your post forever when there's other posts following yours, I noticed it randomly when I had to scroll up the page to access the menu. It makes the conversation so much easier to follow.

Like I said, there's a lot to read about her lip-synching. If it now would happen to be true that this track actually is lip-synched, then it'll be added to the list of one of the few tracks during Ayumis 10 year career that was lip-synched but for that to happen I think we need a lot more people claiming that it is so.

For the record, I think the tracks she synced might still be countable on one hand.

This thread might not be about lip-syncing, but if she started doing it more frequently all of a sudden it definitely goes under the "different on stage"-category.

I don't think she's different on stage. (But I've said that before.) Obviously you can't perform, say, talkin' 2 myself the way you perform a song like AUDIENCE, and since she has so many rock recently it might seem like overall she's performing differently. But Fly high and stuff are still really cute. :3

Seriously, take like..a 10 second segment (preferably from a chorus or pre-chorus) and compare it to, say, the same part from CDL06-07. If it's very different, I'll shut up forever. (this excludes peco/princess, the band and audience)

I don't really think she lip synced evolution in last year countdown~
2007 ~ 2008.
Why would she do that for evolution, but allow herself to sound a little bad for surreal or ladies' night? it doesn't make much sense..

But I think she's a little different.
She's a little older, so she can't maybe march along the stage in a tu-tu like in previous tours~ ahaha. it looks funny.
But I think she is still the same.

And it looks she adjusted so well to her left ear!!
The AT08 video sounds so good!! I wish I could go.
I were so surprised about Mirrorcle World, cause last times she didn't sound as good.
But this time it's great!!

That was an error on the part of the people who made the video.

Anyway, I ripped the audio from the performance, since we don't really need the video.. and I also ripped a piece of Boys&Girls afterwards.

Without the video it sounds really live.

i saw every her tour and she didn't lypsynched there at all(i mean i saw dvd and tv versions). ow watching evolution @CDL07-08. What's with that? She is proffesional singer. She sings live during countdown all the songs(except interludes of course)
I don't see any lypsynching there. Coz you know. I live in country whre 90% musical tv shows are lypsynched(they don't feel shame saying about this, just individual tours are live) so i know how look and sounds lypsynching, it's more weird. really...

Lol!! Ayumi lover, are you a fellow singaporean? There's lip-synching aplenty here. Thanks for the video truehappiness it was... eye-opening. So that's how she REALLY sound live. Erm i think she very careless with her pitch! It's all over the place, discounting MY ALL because she cried. I'm glad she brought the come on's back though =) And she's 'moving' a lot more these days which is an improvement IMO. For eg. concert tour 2000 vol.1, the immobility can kill.

According to a friend, if the live band is playing, chances are the singing is live so perhaps ayu did sing live for CDL06-07 and they played a pre-recorded track for the DVD.

oh god! really! evolution, B&G, Unite are song that she sung 100 times alredy. Why do you think that it must be every time different? If she sung it 100 times she have her manner f performing it so it will sound the same if she isn't out of tune or ill. That's all here as for me

A lot of shameless lip synching here too =p Personally i feel ayu went from statue (concert tour 2000-dome tour) to dancing singer (2002 concerts-AT03-04) to interactive performer (CDL04-05-present) if that makes sense. I like how it is now and i really respect how she did a full dance with shu-ya for appears in AT07 compared to earlier concerts where it felt like she was delivering a 15 song karaoke concert.
