I don't know... Ayu has always made it very clear that she won't retire and that she would have already done it if that's what she wanted..
Obviously people can change, so nothing's ever 100% out of question, but I believe that if Ayu were to retire, it would be due to health issues. I just doubt it's something she would willingly do, she still loves performing so much.

Maybe she'll take a break after her anniversary, although she seemed to already struggle with not performing for months in 2020, haha.

Or maybe it's nothing that serious, knowing what a troll she can be... I don't think she has ever teased any of her 'bad' / major announcements before either. Yet I'm also prepared for other things..

Her latest post really makes me think NRY is about the dancers who she said betrayed her and cut out of her insta pics at the party...
I was wondering whether maybe it had something to do with her relationship to Pei, because it's easy to imagine that other dancers would object, not least because of the age and status gap, but also in the context of troupe harmony and maintaining professionalism

Yea that’s true… like it’s hard to draw a line between work and private. Since pei is still a dancer in her troupe. Not like he’s totally an outsider guy. (Like how Manuel, Tomoya or that doctor guy is). LOL

I had a crazy dream last night that I was at the 25th Anniversary Concert. The concert was amazing, a spectacle!

However, during the encore while she was doing a costume change, a video was displayed like the NTV 2004 interview. The interviewer asked "Where will Ayu be in the future?" and she said "Well, I will spend time with my children and enjoy the beach as well"

Everyone in the concert went silent ...

As a tl;dr, Ayu vague-blogged about a huge drama, and later photos of Sou, a gym trainer who has been in her staff for a long time, were notable erased from her IG. Later on, photos of Risato were also deleted. In addition to this, Sou's wife announced their divorce later that same month.

Later on, there were some news reports about Miccie and Sou being involved in some real estate scam in Japanese media as well, and that they'd used Ayu's name to be trusted by people, but they'd all lost money in the end?... the full story never really came out, and although Risato was never named in an article iirc, since they left at the same time a lot of people assume that it's about Miccie, Sou, and Risato specifically.

There's no evidence this is about other dancers, or Ayu's relationship.
