I really liked it... Good video.
On thing that annoys the ***** out of me though is all the "video not available in your country" messages i get on YT, Dailymotion and all the other sites. What's up with that? Stupid!

The director did a job almost as good as with Rihanna, although I have to agree with tanachu that there didn't actually happen a lot in the vid. It was more a lot of good shots of gorguous-looking Utada and a random pretty handsome boy wandering around her XD
But it's a very good promo vid! It's classy, and I'm sure this will appetize the American folks! Go go go Hikki into top 40 ^______^ *cheers*
I hope she will put stills of this video on her myspace page, would be nice ^_____^
The style reminds me very of Maria Carey too, and I really love what they did with her hair *insert lots of hearts here*

EDIT; FuNstyle; I guess it's that Google-Youtube private policy. They put copyright on things like videoclips and AMVs, sometimes they removes vids, other times they only play it in certain countries.
And indeed plain stupid and irritating, if you ask me.. All those vids of Utada from before have been removed or copyrighted so watching her isn't that easy anymore <___<
I guess it's the same with other artists, but I care more about Utada now >__<;;

I don't think the video was boring...

and...I mean, it does tell a story...the story is in the lyrics...it didn't need anymore than what it got.

The "golden" shots are heavenly.

The slicked back hair...I think is okay...red lipstick on hikki is just though lol

I like it. I like the song better now too...it's really growing on me...

although...the "one in a million" still kills me a little inside every time she says it lol

I agree so much. The "one in a million" part is by far my favorite of the whole song.

Also, lol @ some people for not understanding the historical references in this video. It's obviously a 1930s Shanghai theme, hence the slicked back hair. People who don't like it obviously just don't understand what she was trying to go for.

I actually didn't really pick up on the historical references...

I was just watching it to watch her "sing" I guess lol

I always have to watch things more than once though to really pick up everything and any irony or symbolism it might have with the lyrics/shots etc.

The first time I watch a pv it's always just for entertainment lol I actually find the pv entertaining a lot...I think that all the changing of the shots really...keeps it interesting...and all her different outfits I think...keep it interesting too, while the lyrics tell the story.

Shanghai what? No. I never commented on her appearance, in fact that's probably the only good thing about the video. I don't like this video because it was boring and stupid, plain and simple, and I at least have legitamate reasons for that. The guy served no purpose in the video. It barely held my attention at all. There was no story except for her singing to him- it could have been like "Be My Last" where there was actually a story involved to bring it to life, and other characters involved.

A video doesn't have to have special effects to be good but there's a lot more going on in that video than in this one- I find the "story" to be a little convoluted, and I'm not sorry that you don't like my opinion.
