I hope the 2 TV performances can mantain the next days drops...

I've listened to fated a lot of times and it still hasn't bored me yet. There is always something new to discover in Ayu's music.

Anyway, I'm expecting sales of not more than 200,000. And if people even bother to check the yearly Oricon chart, 200,000 is a VERY VERY VERY good number. Only 13 singles so far (as of June), have sold more than 200,000.

Whatever happened during Koda Kumi's MS appearance? Was there a negative reaction?

LOL. It was just that BUT/Aisho dropped from no. 1 to no. 2 (taken over by hikki) after she perfomed BUT on MS, even tho the indicator of the single went up for 300 (3336 to 3631). 780 (x1.75) difference between Ayu and PG?! Ayu has a chance of losing the daily #1 as early as tomorrow. Both are appearing on MS on Friday so it should be interesting tomorrow and the week plays out.

It wasn't really MS having a negative effect on Kuu's single. It's more like HYD2 had a greater effect than MS. (HYD2 also aired on Friday nights thus giving her the higher boost.)

Although I doubt MJ will have any big effect on sales since it's aired so late and has low ratings (compared to other music shows), PG will also be performing on MJ with Ayu.

I'm really not understanding your logic... do you really think a single performance affects sales that much? I'm in Japan right now, and I can assure you that's not the case. Of course the artist is going to perform the song at various variety shows to promote the music, but I've never seen any convincing evidence that one extra performance or one "good" or "bad" one will affect sales as much as is being speculated in this thread.

imo, the worst thing that could happen is Ayu having a higher index number but losing that lead because of a lower multiplication rate (i.e. having x1.7 instead of x1.75 etc.)
