Ayu's can can outfit's feather felt down and i saw Gomi tried to fix it but he couldn't because he needed to start dancing...

Man, this thread is so quiet. I was expecting to see more than this. Anyway, I have a question. To those of you who went to the concert, so was there any major difference in Ayu's vocals between the live and the DVD version?

Oh yeah, and her "ear" problem, has it started since then? Because I noticed she took the monitor out of her left ear during Boys and Girls..or was that just for fun?

Vocally, I haven't heard anything this amazing. I'm serious. She sounds almost perfect on all these songs. I would say she practiced SUPER hard, or this came from earlier performances, perhaps?

Visually, (according to my friends), it's like a Vegas show. Which I sort of agree with, since many of the costumes seem to emit that vibe. However, I do feel that many of the outfits are something unique, something that Ayu can only pull off. I think the M/appears dress was VERY pretty, something that looks ready to wear. My personal favorite was the 1LOVE/until that Day... combo of dancing/costume. It was spectacular, and the concept was resonant throughout. The overall feel was much more stellar compared to last year, but the presentation could have been more innovative. I won't complai, as she did have to think about her overseas audience.

Conceptually, it was more of a compilation of what (I guess) she considers her best. I think she could have vamped up M a little more, and the part of Me/Secret portion, but the rest basically covered for it. Overall though, it was a little lackluster compared to AT2006. If we waited this long, the least they could have added were the actual performances of all the songs, since most of the songs actually presentd could have been seen on earlier concerts. I would have loved to hear the Chinese "Who..." also.

As a score... I'd give it an 8.5/10. Refreshing, but still not new. Crisp vocals, yet recycled themes. However, still enjoyable since most songs are fan favorites, and able to sing along to.

the ayu wearing the mask was her stunt double. when mask ayu is on stage that was actually to buy time as they prepared putting the real ayu on the cross.

i dunno if im alone on this opinion but i think this was an amazing concert. it was a pretty good playlist combining both Secret songs and oldie songs. and i dont mean to be offensive but for those that are talking about concert format about 2 fast songs then ayu song with dancers and such and such, i just think you are being way too critical. things like that shouldnt play a factor in what makes a concert good or bad

I was wondering, didn't they say that they had two versions of the concert? For concerts in Japan, Ayu sang to promote her Secret album, and overseas she did it by singing older songs..so basically what we're seeing is the overseas concert, right?

Is it me, or is the ayu wearing the mask REALLY not ayu-looking. Throughout the whole time she is on everything is done weird. And when she is running back it looks even funnier!

For us, of course she didn't look like Ayu. The camera was focused on her, while if you were at the performance itself, you wouldn't have been able to tell, since you'd be caught up in the moment and all that.

My guess is that this is one of those things that you "had to be there" for.
