I'm not sure where to post this but this thread seems as good a place as any...

Ayu tweeted about 5 hours ago that she updated the gallery on TA. Ever since I joined TA I've never been able to see the gallery and always get a 'coming soon...' landing page. Does anyone else experience the same thing? What the hell? lmao

The TA entry actually says that she's in the midst of selecting images for the gallery. It's not actually up yet.

Whoops I forgot that TA entry was named ギャラリー☆, which is where the confusion came in It's so annoying that there's never been anything in the gallery section though. Grr.

Honestly I think the gallery should stay on the website people are still paying to be on there for a reason if everything gets leaked onto here then what's the point then just one person could be a member and leak everything and the rest could just look at it for free and that's not the point of TeamAyu

For CDs and such it's a different story since everyone can buy them but exclusive content should stay exclusive IMO

I was in a fandom a few years ago (the Gazette, if anyone likes this band) and in order to become a member of the fanclub you had to pay like 100$ a year, a lot of money so i understand why you wouldn't want everyone to see the content you paid so much money for but its member were being kind of "elitists" and wouldn't let a single photo or blog entry leak, they were so mad when it happened I had a close friend of mine who was a member and he wouldn't even let me see the pictures. I remember telling myself "i'm lucky ayu's fandom is not like that, team ayu magazines' scans are on the internet for everyone to see and no one is here to throw a tantrum because of that.

I'm a not a member of TA yet because i'm still evaluating if this investment would be profitable or not haha.

I think you're trying too hard to show that they are different. just replace gallery with mp3s and website/membership with CDs and it's exactly the same~ lol

As a TeamAyu member I agree, TA exclusive material SHOULD stay exclusive, but let's be real, it's not gonna happen. Also, I wouldn't get my hopes up, it's probably not gonna be a big deal anyway. Just a bunch of off-shots and whatnot.

I always saw fan clubs as elitism spreading. Not to mention it makes me question the sincerity of the artists. But it's just me. More than anything else i always wonder where do people have extra money to spend on this ****.
