I just released my first single!

Some of you know me as one of the first remixers from this site, and now finally after many years, I've decided to release my debut single! I did the production, arrangement, mastering and vocal takes by myself.

Here's a little backstory in case you have time:

I wanted to create an old-school Trance/EDM anthem with a future house vibe. As for the lyrics of the song, I wanted them to be political and inspiring, and to be in English instead of Spanish (my native language) so that it would be a message that would reach not only the people of my country, but all over the world.

There is a part that says "even if we have one eye left / we're not blind enough not to see / that we need to keep on fighting". In Chile, 352 people have suffered eye damage due to police brutality in social protests from October 2019 to March this year, before the quarantine period began. While at this time people are already beginning to go outside in the rest of the world, we continue to be locked up, starving and suffering the consequences of a government unable to care for its people.

Although the lyrics were inspired by the social outbreak in Chile, the words are relevant because of the pandemic that's affecting us worldwide at the moment.
