Wow! This album is AMAZING! Is as good as MUSIC! I LIKE IT SO MUCH! This is my ranking:

1.MUSIC
2.YES
3.LOVE
4.TRUE

MUSIC and YES are allmost the same, but MUSIC has some specials songs for me like Oborozukiyo Inori, Hitori and Shadows of You...

^Yup it's debuted at #3 yesterday. Pretty good. Mr.Children #1 and Kuu #2. Just heard YES last night. It's really a good album, full of gospels here and there. Her voice is still amazing.

^i have a feeling that mika might get the second spot since the sales of kumi's BEST is quite close to mika's YES. we can expect a fight between them

btw, i just heard YES, it sound ok but i thought ALL HANDS TOGETHER sound weird when placed after CRY NO MORE ~_~ really love 汚れた花, GOING BACK HOME, DANCE WITH THE DEVIL

YES totally blew me away and definitely surpassed my high expectations. The previews really don't do the album justice; songs that sounded kind of bland and humdrum as previews are magnificent in their full versions. Yet again, Mika demonstrates her maturity and versatility on the record. Her smooth vocals fit flawlessly with the authentic gospel sound, as expected. It really lives up to Mika's pedigree, and personally I would venture to say it's better than even her masterwork MUSIC. Like its predecessor, virtually every track is single quality, only this time it’s a more cohesive package. Usually I favour variety over coherency, but it’s hard to complain when the album’s heavily Southern-influenced sound works so perfectly with Mika’s voice. Although it’s early to call, I think it could be 2007’s finest album. At least until Ayu’s next one.

I’m a tad disappointed Sunao na Mama’s PV isn’t featured on the DVD, but alas, I’ll survive. I still can’t wait to get my copy. By the way, is the song JOY a cover, it sounds a little familiar? If so, who originally performed it? Sorry if this has been posted before.

YES is a gd album to my surprise..previews once again did unjustice to the songs...

i like Sunao na mama, DANCE WITH THE DEVIL, yogoreta hana, GOING BACK HOME

this album feels so Olden-chinese style..how do i put this...something relaxing which the older generation might listen to...this album aint that jazz (which is gd) yet it doesnt feel like a new sound...

i will give it 7/10

JOY is so beautiful. The lyrics are cliche but cute nonetheless. I just wish Mika would have english pronunciation classes before singing songs like that though, because her accent is horrible. She needs to learn at least how to pronounce "TO"

Sunao na mama is fantastic; it and Mienai Hoshi have really brought my love for Mika back. I hope YES does well, i think it's one of her better albums so far!

and as for mika getting married:

mom told me she read it on yahoo! tawain. it's not official yet, just a rumour. she told me that people got the idea from her new song, where her songs' lyrics are talking about wanting to get married (or something along the line of this) (corny joke: SHE SAYS YES!!!!)

Guess it's just another kind of rumour. But sometimes judging from lyrics may mean something, just like Hikki's Flavor Of Life.
