instead copy her for almost everything.. >< haha, i knew this would happen after the concert in taiwan.. still i think jolin imitates ayu.. ><

Jolin and Ayumi are two different people. its just that Jolin is a fan of Ayu. What is wrong with that? We should feel honoured instead.

wasn't there a gackt cm where he stood in a glass case too... where he was on display (but he was butt naked ;P)
overall, the main point is the setting of a figure standing in a glass case. it's not what the person does, it's the idea that was taken. i think that in the near future, people will run out of ideas, become less creative, and dumb, and no longer be original anymore. everything and everyone sounds and looks like something and someone else. this world is going down people, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! i just think people here are just a bit overly dramatic about trivial things. go cry to your mommy about it instead of us. jolin's MV which called, well i don't know what's the title for the song, where she cries with hanabi pouring down on her just like ayu's hanabi episode 2..
that's the one that i know that looks so much a like!! every detail.....

The interviews I've read and seen on tv of jolin, she never once said she's a fan of Ayumi. When asked who are her fave celebrities, she mentioned Madonna and one other western singer whose name slipped my mind at the moment. And the newspaper article where by they seek her opinion on the comparison between her and ayu, she just mentioned that ayu is very daring to wear just leaves on her body (i am) while she (jolin, herself) claim she's not like that.
So it really beats me why some people think she's a fan of ayu? Cos i don't see any adoration for ayu in her from everything I saw of her on tv, magazines blah. but guess I went abit OT, sorry about that. This similarity is nothing compared to this which I am pretty sure most people on this forum saw it already.

yes, though she had never say she is a fan. i do remember reading somewhere that sho do admire ayu for her boldness and creative. BUT nothing about a fan.....

It's threads like this that can really tick people off. -.- Ayu and Jolin have NOTHING In Similar. They are TWO Different Artists from TWO different countries who sing in TWO Different languages.
Besides, I could be like "OMG!!1! AYU COPIED PARIS!!1!" because they both wore the same dress one time, but you don't see me going and being immature about it.

This similarity isn't worth noting at all. Trends are re-used a lot in music, and besides, Ayu gets a lot of her ideas from Madonna. It's the circle of life...er..inspiration.

Can't see the first video, Kose CM, and I don't remember any CM like it, with breaking walls or anything... so I can't judge.
But hey, I remember I saw behind the scenes clips of that Jolin video in the news on CCTV4 some time ago  btw, is there any Jolin Tsai videography anywhere? she seems to have tones of videos...
