Kelly Clarkson 2007 New Album - My December

OK i just heard the cd, and although some of the songs are now growing on me, I can honestly say this album is kinda bad. I mean, yes, she put her heart and soul into it, and you can really feel it, but it seems like she WANTED to make a bad record, just to test how popular she really is? Maybe she's trying to sabotage her own career?

The songs are nothing like Breakaway, and I know she wanted to do her own thing, and i can respect the musical change. But the truth is her voice has never sounded worse than it does on this cd. Maybe it's just more raw than her previous recordings, I dunno.

I will honestly say that I will support her through anything, but please Kelly, next time make a GOOD cd, so we can have something fun to listen to in our cars, cause this stuff is just not fun to listen to. This cd will not sell anywhere as near as Breakaway, but i guess she knew that before she even began. Ah well, my hopes are dashed, guess i'll wait another 3 years before she writes another cd.

Don't take this review personal, I do like the cd, it's just kind abad in some parts, the music doesn;t fit, her voice is offkey, she sings in falsetto, which really sounds bad. She tried too hard to imitate her favorite singers, and ended up sounding nothing like 'em. I LOVE YOU KELLY SORRY IF THIS HURTS YOUR FEELINGS! (not that youll read this)
