I've never heard Ne-Yo's music... so I don't know what to expect.

^its not bad, but it sounds like every other prepubescent R&B artist out there. I love R&B but this new generation need to branch out on their own and find their own flavor. The selection is very...boring.

Haven't heard the clip but the cover is positively hideous.

Ugh, exactly. Just like I said before, I doubt Ne-Yo even cares about Utada, or even saw her. I'm pretty sure it was a label decision. :|

so yeah, that's why utada's vocals suck and the song sucks

she obviously had no say in the production as this is just a "Remix" of the original

of course this is a "remix" since the song was already previously released with only NE YO, and its not her song either so she wouldn't have had much of a say anyway.

It probably would have sucked either way.

awww I dont want the song to suck

I dont even think the cover is hideous ,even though I think Utada should have been in the cover or have her name a little bigger.......
But dont you guys think your being a little too mean. I mean Ne-Yo is pretty good as an artist.
Also the fact that Utada is working with someone who is FAMOUS in America may really really help her.

Every Hikki forum I have been on, has been so MEAN to Ne-Yo! If anything, we should be happy that Ne-yo wants to work with Utada. If it wasn't for that, we'd be prolly bored to death from waiting on Hikki to release something!

I heard about the collab, I'm pretty excited because I like ne-yo he has a decent voice that won't make my ears blend from the western side!

Right Ne-Yo is also well known in Japan, He was kat-tun's talk show as a quest apperance and one of the band memeber's Koki is a HUGE fan of his.
not that it really matters but for some reason I felt like adding that point. Just to show that he is known as A GOOD ARTIST!!! He also writes lyrics . I dont see why everyone is being so harsh on him. And for those who dont like Utada working with Ne-Yo at least he is a decent artist, unlike those rappers who sing about stupid stuff like drugs,gettting shot and,*****'S

Well, I don't know if I'd say that. He probably didn't choose her. I'm sure it was the label or whatever, but I'm still glad she's on the track. It does sound quite good from the preview. However, if that's the only part fo the song she's in then I won't be listening to it.

True. Ne-Yo and Utada worked together most likely because they were under the same record label. And it'll be good if Utada got promotion through this single and she would be able to release her album around that time also.

No, I don't think it "just" was a record label thing. Jay-Z and LA "Reid" referred Ne-Yo to her. So, I think they Utada in mind for him for a good minute. Just my opinion though.

i just really hope that this wont turn out to be one of those awful remixes you hear on late night radio stations that make you think "Good...who is this chick? What the hell did they do to this song?"

i hear a lot of songs like that at my work...so....hm...while it would be nice if my work radio station picked up the track, i really really hope this doesnt turn out to be a track like that. :/

and this new song- I think it's realli bad, just even if compare to Stay Gold preview -which is the most awesome I heard this year

I was really anxious to hear Stay Gold too. It seems no more info on the song won't be coming anythime soon. You know, if Ne-Yo eanted to promote his single even better, he and Utada should made a PV. I could use a PV with Utada (Hikki) in it. I pray that Hikki's next PV will be mind blowing. I miss the Kiriya-type PVs! ToT It's what Japan needs again!!

Definitely agree with you there Luv ~Venus~. We really need another amazing PV from Hikki with her actually in it. Well I'm thinking it's kinda been a while since the CM was released and since there's no announcement for a single release, it'll probably have to be sometime next year. That would be extremely long wait so would you think the song would be released even though the CM was aired like 3 months ago? I don't know anything about that system but that seems like a really long time. So "Stay Gold" PV? I dunno but I really want Hikki to release a new single in JANUARY! JANUARY! Sorry but I'm emphasizing that we need something new. Actually, not even a release in January just an announcement of when a new single / new album is coming out. I know, I should appreciate any news on Hikki but I kinda want just one more single with the best PV she's doen so far for this album, although that shouldn't be hard. Oh, and I really would love it if her next album came in CD Only / CD + DVD Editions since it would be pointless if she did it with this album...
