Akurei, they essentially sing rock. It's not heavy rock though, mostly soft/acoustic/folk-y. They also use elements common in pop music like strings and synth and stuff.

I would agree that HOME would be a good place to start. Arguably, it's not nearly as experimental as previous albums.

My personal favorite is Q. It's chill and laid-back, but also very mysterious and experimental.

I highly recommend DISCOVERY, lots of good songs. Prism, I'll be, Undershorts, La la la... Another chill album.

B-SIDE is pretty good, but it might leave you with a boring first impression. I haven't really had a chance to digest the whole album, but it does contain my favorite song from them, "1999 Nen, Natsu, Okinawa".
