AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I met HILARY DUFF!!!
Hey you guys!!
I just got back not to long ago from meeting Hilary Duff!! She was in town to help 93.1 DRQ raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. She would be at a mini-golf/go-kart place from 4-6pm meeting and greeting people. This included getting autographs from her!! YAY! My friend is a big Hilary Duff fan, and I lke her in Lizzie McGuire so we decided to go! Luckily we had a half day at school, and got out at 10:30. We decided just to check out the line right after school, and it's a good thing that we did! We got there at around 11 and it was packed! There were people that had camped out overnight to come and meet Hilary! There were tons of little kids there when we got there, most hadn't gone to school, but as the high schools started getting out we saw more and more people our age in line. We waited there for almost 7 hours before getting an autograph! We were the last group of people to get let up and in. She was SO BEAUTIFUL AND SO NICE!! She looks exactly like she does on TV, and she was so incredibly nice when we got up there, even after nearly an hour and a half of signing autographs. She had to have signed over 500 autographs by the time that we got up there. Her mom, who is also her manager was there as well, and she was so pretty! VERY VERY pretty actually, especially for someone old enough to have a (nearly) 16 year-old daughter. Anywho, back to Hilary. She has the PRETTIEST eyes ever. I just can't get over how nice she was as well. My friend drew her this picture, and when she gave it to her she was so sweet about it! She wasn't like, "here's another stupid gift", she was actually excited and really appreciative. She looked exactly like she does on TV, simply beautiful! There are so many things that went wrong though, there was EASILY over 1000 people there, probably even 2000. People were trying to cut in line, and just in general being jerks. I don't feel like talking about that at the moment right now. Still pissed off ... lol Anywho, whenever I can, I'll scan my autograph and upload the digital pictures we got of her. She is just so sweet and pretty. I can't get over it! ahhH!! Ashley

I WENT (with Ashley... or... she went with me... lol) IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!!! Omg just meeting her was so incredible!! And I gave her the pic I drew while I was standing in line for 7 hours (which everyone who saw me drawing it were like omg thats soooo good; it was of cartoon Lizze from the show). I gave it to her and shes like OMG THAT IS SO GOOD!! And she was really actually excited. And shes like turning to her bodygaurd and shes like isnt that so good!?!?! And shes like WOW I think I still draw stick figures!! That's really good!! Thank you so much!! I was sooooo excited. I had a conversation with Hilary Duff!!! And she really is sooooo gorgeous!!! I got my CD booklet signed.
We got AWESOME pictures and one maybe two are gonna go in the school paper with an article that I will write!! I'll put the article up here when I write it! It was sooooo awesome. I wont even talk about the idiot people cuz it was just so stupid. And we BARELY god in, omg. I am just sooooooo happy!!!!!

omg u damn lucky duck. i dont liek hilary duf much but hey, a famous person's a famous person. who DOESNT wana meat one? grr.. nothing like that happens aroudn here...

Awesome, Ash :2cool !!
I don't think I'd have the patience to wait not 1, but 7 hours in line  ! I'd most lilely go home in 3 hours max, but at least you waited it out, and by the looks of it, you had a blast  ! Hopefully, you can get those pics up so we can all see the event, as I'm sure it'll be one of those things you'll be telling your friends for years to come  !!

Sometime last year we had Jason The 300 Pound Intern come to our school do our annoncements but I wasn't at school during announcements at all last year. He's from the radio station that hosted the Hilary event (93.1 DRQ Detroit). And we saw him there and we're like YAY CHURCHILL!! And he's like uh... yeah!! LOL.
Oh and we're on camera somewhere. There was a lady with a camera and we were with a bunch of kids and we sang the chorus of Why Not and I held up my pic and all. I heard from someone that it was for the DRQ website, so I'll be checking. It couldn't have been a TV camera cuz theyd have the station name and stuff plastered all over the camera and camera person. Go to http://www.drqradio.com to check out all the info. ^_^ Tomiko Van 312: LOL I wouldn't know lol. We were barely with her for 30 seconds and there was a table in between us. They weren't doing photo ops with her due to time restraints. So I couldn't hug her or anything either. Piccies!!!!
Here's some pics of the line.... These are from at 11:00... and don't be fooled.. that's not the beginning of the line! That's probably over the half way point with tons of people behind!!! The line grew MASSIVELY around 12 and 1.. and then continued to grow up until she stopped signing autographs at 6.  Still at around 11, so not very many people behind us. We were at the end. That person waving is Logan, who isn't really a Hilary fan, but was kind enough to join us and be our gopher for the 7 hours were were there. I'm sitting next to him.  This is when we were up closer to the front... but that barn thing there is where you had to get a wristband to get up and see Hilary. If you got a wristband, you were guaranteed in. That castle with the DRQ tent is where she was signing autographs on the putt-putt course.  Here are the pictures of Hilary!! yay!! This is when she first came out into the plain view of everyone. That's her bodyguard in front of her. That was aroun 3, and ohur later she started signing autographs.   Here are some pics of when we FINALLY made it up into the tent!! The lady in the orange is her mother. Doesn't she look great???  Here's hliary signing autographs.. her hand must get tired!!  And here's the piccy that I took of Hilary RIGHT when Laura gave her the picture. She was so excited about it!!  Ok.. that's all.. ehehhee.. I have to download new drivers for my scanner, since I'm on XP now and the disc doesn't support drivers for XP.. the driver is 60mb! I'll have to wait until I can go over to my grandpa's or get high-speed internet to download it. Ashley

OMG those pics so rule!! I love you Ashie!!! I so wanna use the one with my piccy in the paper!! LOL. I'm hoping to put one pic on the cover to say hey go look at this article (Kayleigh said that was a possiblity) and then having another in the article. If that happens Ill use the one with my drawing IN the article and the cute one of her signing and smiling for the cover. Or the one when she first came out. Depends on how big of a picture we'd use. Cuz to blow up the one where she first came out seems kinda blah quality for a newspaper, unless we use it as its regular size, cropped.
ANYWAY..... AWESOME!!! (bed time, im pooped)

hillary duff is really cute and even at my age i like watching lizzy mcquire...*....i think lizzy and gordo look kawaii together.......*.... but neways thats awesome that u met her ^^; i like her as an actress but not too much as a singer..but...thats besides the point here.........im jus babbling now.... wow dat is soo freaqin cool~~! lucky luck people! she does loook really pretty.. never heard her songs but saw a couple of her eposides of lizzy mcquire which da acting was pretty good. the pix u took r awesome! great capturing and im soo happy for u~!
