cdjapan sales count towards the Oricon charts

Not sure if this was posted yet....

Did you know that all sales made through CDJapan count for the Japanese Oricon CD and DVD sales charts? That means any time you make a purchase through CDJapan you help your favorite artists reach the top of the charts.

While our sales data has counted for the Oricon rankings since Neowing's (our parent company) inception in 1997, starting in November of this year we've become an official "Oricon Contributing Site (Oricon Chosa Kyoryoku Ten)." That means all our sales data contributes to the daily and weekly Oricon sales charts. We also get to sport the spiffy badge you see on the left.

I try to order from CDJapan as often as I can, but for Ayu goods, I just have to order from YesAsia...the prices are lower, and for GUILTY, everyone who pre-orders receive the gifts, not just the first 100 people. I thought that was sort of cheap of CDJapan to be honest. I still buy Ai Otsuka and Miyavi goods at CDJapan though.

d'you mean, 100 from all of them are chosen? or does EVERYONE receive a gift? O_o

only 100 people get the special gift at random, everyone who pre-ordered when first press was avaliable get the photobook.... that's it

Hence why I try my best to order from there as much as possible.

Well for Ayu's new releases anyway.
Old singles I just go for yesasia.
