Koda, Namie and Ayu all have different types of voices. Koda has a deeper voice which suits more R&B type songs, while you can tell Ayu has a higher pitched voice which helps her sing those songs like Trauma and Evolution. Her voice to me, sounds a lot more natural than Koda's because it seems to flow a bit better. Namie's voice though.... it suits practically everything.

I like Kuu's voice - it isn't all high pitched and cute like many Japanese girl singers - it's kinda deep and smooth... that sounds wierd!! ^^

she writes MOST of her lyrics.. if you want I can paste you the album scans and give you a list...

I was wrong for that....sorry but......I still don't sse the great voice everyone is saying that Kumiko has. Don't get me wrong I have some kuu favorites but voice wise...let me not go there.

Nooooo! I don't hate kumiko...or anything like that....but "the she has a gorgeous voice...better than Ayu and Namie" struck a cord! I hope my opinions aren't that BAD! XD

I don't think kuu's voice is a 7th wonder. It's stuill quite unique and powerful though. I just don't like when she oputs too much english on songs...then her voices gets bizarre

1,000 no Kotoba - Kuu has a powerful voice - for me anyway

on topic=> I can't really tell which vocals are better than who. I guess some ayu songs sang by koda would suck and some koda songs sang by ayu too.

I think Kuu sounds actually really good live.
